The machine on the bus was broken, we had just arrived in Rome with a valid ticket. When the Atac employee got on the bus to check our tickets while we stood next to the machine we cooperated, gave him our passports and told him te machine didn’t work and we wanted to show him. He roughly got us out of the bus and started yelling in Italian. We told him to not escalate the situation and to not raise his voice. We cooperated the whole time but the employee was only shouting and threatening us to pay the fine immediately. A very horrific experience!!
