My experience with toloka was terrible.
How can I signed up and trying to do a task.The next thing was "your account is under review" for two months now.
For no just cause😭😭

I made some good money 3 years ago. now tasks are more rare and it's hard to get clear tasks with organised, logical and detailed guidelines.

"A phone number that has already been linked to an account cannot be used to register a new one, even if the account has since been deleted. We are also unable to restore the deleted account."

Which is interesting, but I have never had an account at this site.

I requested to have my data deleted from their database, since that must be the only thing they are interested in to use, and they say they will keep them for 7 years.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR DATA TO THESE PEOPLE.

Someone made a mistake and gave my phone number to their registry in 2021, and now they say "there is a deleted account with my data and cannot be restored".

This is nonsense and weird, I believe they want your data to sell it, but no intention of providing you opportunities to work.

I would support this why because of this is useful to youth

These guys are scammers. I did a photo-upload task that was rejected without any explanation or justification.
The fact that the platform does not allow users to open a support ticket to appeal or understand these decisions is highly problematic and unprofessional.

Terrible. Stay away at all costs. Pay is near trivial at no more than US$4.00 an hour. Unpaid training, unpaid tests, and terrible pay if you do make it into a project. This is one of the many scam-AI training sites with their business model set up to use you as a free tool to get free annotated data with them collecting maximum dollars from their institutional clients with zippo going to their contractors.

The site initially seems legitimate at first as there are tasks that can be completed, though they are low-paying. The problem arises in getting to the minimum payout threshhold as the tasks mysteriously dry up before you reach it, then I was suddenly unable to access my account. The customer service is useless. The site is worthless and a calculate scam: they're getting free work.

I really wish I could give Toloka zero stars. The app is trash has lots of bugs. The button doesn't even click. People complain about being cheated out of the money they worked for, but I haven't even been able to take my English test or go through onboarding. All the information I provided is correct, with no single mistake or false information. I repeat again, this app is trash.

Toloka used to be one of the best microtask app but as of 2026, it's one of the worst, there's practically nothing to do there.

I spent well over an hour on my first task, which was a very detailed annotation of a video. I really made sure that the work I did was detailed and of good quality. They rejected it without any feedback. My time is gone, no money received. I bet they use the data anyway. Crooks! Stay away from this platform.

Scam company! When some project is available, you will be asked to take some tests. I took a test with many data annotation questions. They just mention that you failed the test and do not provide the score or reasons for why I failed? where to improve. They get their data annotation done freely through exams!!! waste of time !!

Terrible experience. I applied for the AI annotator position and spent a long time completing the test, only to be told afterward that my identity verification failed. They immediately closed any chance to retry. When I contacted customer support, they offered no explanation—just said they decided to close it. If that’s the case, then don’t waste people’s time. Be clear from the beginning if there are any special requirements for identity verification. Don’t waste everyone’s time, OK?
