The site has great features that I can manage and the help is superb if you get stuck.

I have been a loyal Wix customer for many years. Throughout that time, I have not only used Wix for my own projects, but I have also recommended it to countless others and convinced businesses I have worked for to choose and pay for Wix services.

Unfortunately, this loyalty has not been rewarded.

Without any warning or reminder, a significant amount of money was suddenly withdrawn from my account. This happened while I am heavily pregnant and genuinely need those funds. The project in question was started over two years ago, and I was convinced I had already cancelled the subscription. Instead, I was automatically charged for another two-year subscription at nearly double the price I originally paid.

I contacted customer support via chat and was told that my case would be escalated to another team. That never happened. There has been no follow-up, and there is also no opportunity to appeal the decision. I was simply informed that I am not eligible for a refund.

As a result, I have paid a substantial amount for a subscription I neither need nor intended to renew or can afford.

After years of being a loyal customer and actively promoting Wix to others, this experience has been incredibly disappointing. I expected much better treatment, especially for long-term customers.

Sadly, because of the way this situation has been handled, I dont see myself using Wix again or recommend my clients, bosses or friends to use it.

Its been very difficult to use futurestay as added Wix feature. I have spent hundreds of hours learning on my own, reading articles and doing research. Its honestly better for short term rental hosts to use a PMS designed for rental. They are by no means perfect either! I am still have trouble with my 1st direct booking though futurestay and need to call them for the 20th time. Everyone is nice. But futurestay is only available M-F and short term rentals are a 24/7 365 day business. Guests don't want to hear about your business hours. They want things fixed ASAP

I really wanted to like Wix because the platform itself offers a lot of useful features and flexibility for building a website. Unfortunately, my experience with customer service left me disappointed.

I canceled my Premium website subscription before I intended to continue using the service, but I was still charged for the following month. I submitted a refund request explaining the situation, and it was denied without what felt like any real consideration.

The technology is solid, but when something goes wrong, customer support is where a company proves its value. In my experience, Wix fell short. If responsive, customer-focused service is important to you, that’s something to keep in mind before committing to a paid plan.

I have really enjoyed using Wix as a platform for many years. I was getting to a point with my business where I was not seeing the growth I wanted to see in my business. I decided to go through the Wix dashboard and follow the SEO checklist and it was a complete game changer. I am getting noticed more with my Google ads and in the searches. I’m specifically targeted the client base and I want and Wix has been crucial for my photography business.

Appaling. Very expensive. Exceptionally poor customer service. Pray you don't have an issue, because it takes days to get responses from Wix and every time you interact with their support team, you get somebody different and the process starts all over again. It's the worst webhost I've dealt with

I love using WIX. It is so easy and it produces really a product of superior quality. Not only that the SEO that generates really helped me create much more leads. No more spending days creating a website. This one I could do within the day.

I've used WIX for years. Not because I'm experienced with WIX, but because of the freedom and ease of building a professional site the way I like. Also, the customer service is very helpful and easy to work with.

I’ve been using Wix products for over a decade !! I love them and I always find something useful to add to my site !

Becoming more and more redundant with the wave of AI. It's expensive, the editor is clunky and the websites just don't turn out that impressive

Spent more than 2 days and hired expensive developer to setup a wix store, got approved for wix payments and even verified wix account (they're using Stripe verification seprately to verify accounts) and still got my wix payments account closed without any reason.
21 July : Received full account verification email confirming account is now Fully active and verified.
22 July : Logged in to wix to see the account has been Closed.

I was prompted to test payments functionality after I got approved which I did by making a small test purchase.
I wasted money on developer, their premium plan and getting stonewalled now.
Readers, bycot wix.
Try and go for Shopify. They're atleast free for 3 months and better customer support.

Horrible communication and refund policy. When attempting to see if i can get a refund for something I'll never be able to use they stick by that policy and refuse to issue even a partial refund. I felt like I got a response from a bot instead of a person because they did not answer my question and just repeated the same stuff over again. I'll admit I skimmed the terms, but I was under the assumption the 14 day guarantee would have been valid for everything.
I feel like they do that just to get over on people and keep their money because they are heartless.

Great experience in building the website. I found the application to be rich in easy to use functionality.

Horrible refund policy. Paid yearly in advance and missed reviewing my yearly renewal until it was 13 days past my renewal date. WIX would not refund even a prorated amount.

I used wix years ago and had a good experience. Not wanting to learn a whole new system for my new website, I signed up again. Their new system is HORRIBLE! They relay way too heavily on AI. Have zero customer support. Their templates haven’t changed with trends at all. And customization is so much more complicated than it should be. I will be switching over as soon as possible. Complete fail. Every time I try to login to work on the site I end up frustrated and just giving up. This latest time I can’t even get on because they think I’m a robot after 20 minutes of clicking on bicycles and crosswalks and I can’t get a customer support agent to help without logging in.
