Turtledove London Reviews 

Turtledove London has gone into liquidation, however up until 2nd October they still had their website running and were taking orders. I placed an order with them on 15th August, did not receive the goods and customer services do not answer emails. Be aware, that's £42 of my money paid to them and no goods

I ordered trousers which were not suitable on arrival - the material was very cheap as you would expect from somewhere like SHEIN.
I returned the item via tracked post, and never received confirmation of receipt from Turtledove, nor did I receive a refund. Over a 3 week period I emailed customer services outlining the issue on several occasions, and heard nothing back. I have therefore lost out on all the money spent on the trousers, initial postage and return. Avoid this company.

Returned two items a month ago and have had no refund or communication despite multiple emails and a message on Instagram. Will continue to message until I get a response, but despite being a regular customer I would not order from them again.

Initially I had a good experience with an order earlier this year. My items were received reasonably quickly. I returned one item and received my refund with no issues. I had checked their rating and reviews beforehand. So when I ordered more items again late July I didn't think to check reviews again. I now see that their rating has dropped significantly with delayed orders.
Something is amiss for sure. I'lI be pursuing a refund, but don't hold out much hope that they will do the right thing. Thankfully my spend was only £30 for two items in their sale.
Not cool to take people's money if they have ceased trading.

I placed an order on the 13th August... I still haven't received my order! I've sent emails for updates, all of which have been ignored. I want a refund, but I've been ignored regarding this also. They've taken money for goods they seemingly aren't going to send!!!

Still waiting on an order. Three weeks later, no sign and despite contacting three times, no correspondence from them.

The website seems to have gone off line, I made a substational order 3 weeks ago, no tracking update and I've recived nothing.

One item was pre order but everything else should have been sent. Looking at all the reviews it looks like this company has gotten into trouble with stock but has been taking customer orders anyway.

This is breach of consumer law, I will be contacting to get a refund.

Ordered on 13th August. Still not received item or a refund. Turtledove have now ceased trading according to companies house and their website is down but they’re still posting on Instagram?! One of my favourite companies and I’ve spent a fortune on dresses and kids clothing over the years so I’m pretty annoyed this is how it’s ended. Please refund me and all the hundreds of others affected!

Company was dissolved 16th June but continued to advertise and take orders on website. Website now down

Been waiting 16 days for an order of a pair of trousers. They took the money from my account on day of order, and have not replied to my emails. Very disappointing.

No one will respond to my emails about my lost return, I am still being charged for an item of clothing. I had to contact the warehouse that takes the returns, they confirmed that they have ceased trading with Turtledove London. Also there are a backlog of returns since mid July sat in their premises of which my return is lost in the middle of. Turtledove London have stopped responding to my emails. Sort this out Turtledove London. Stop ignoring the customers.

Rubbish experience – avoid Turtledove London

I ordered 2 items on 9 August, just over £60, and the money was taken from my account the next day (10 August). Delivery was quoted as 3-5 days, which suited me fine as I needed the items for a holiday on 21 August and had ordered with plenty of time to spare.

It is now 1 September and I still have not received the goods. My order still shows as “not yet dispatched.”

I have tried repeatedly to get in touch:

• Chased via customer service email on 14, 18 and 19 August
• Also submitted a message through their website contact form
• No response to any of these

On 28 August I emailed again asking them to cancel the order outright and refund my money. Still no response, and the order remains undispatched.

I have now had to raise a dispute with my bank to get my money back, as Turtledove London have shown zero interest in resolving this themselves.

Three weeks with no delivery, five ignored contact attempts, and no working customer service whatsoever. I’d steer well clear.

If Turtledove have any interest whatsoever in resolving this and refunding me for the nonexistent order, the order number is 193643

Sent a return back on 6th August and have not had a refund. Emailed several times and haven’t had a response. Really disappointed in the lack of response and customer service. Website only seems to be accessible through instagram for some reason. The dress I ordered was lovely but the armholes were tiny and the construction of the dress wasn’t the quality that Turtledove have previously had.

So infuriating. I ordered a jumpsuit which I sent back 2 weeks ago and have had no refund. I ordered a smaller size the same day and it still hasn’t even left the warehouse. All I got is an email saying ‘ technical issues ‘ are causing a delay. No reply to any emails. They have £80 of my money but! Don’t order from them !

Avoid!! I placed an order weeks ago, like so many others I’ve received nothing. I’ve contacted them twice via their online form which has been ignored. I wish I’d checked the comments on here before I ordered.
What is so awful is that they are still advertising and unsuspecting customers are placing orders.
I have raised this now with my bank.
If I could give zero stars that would still be too many.

Like others ordered using next day delivery to get some trousers in time for holiday. They weren’t sent on time and didn’t arrive until days later. Customer
Service provided a Royal Mail returns label which I used. Over a week ago the item was collected and still no response from the company despite me contacting them because there has been no sign of my refund.

Awful service (incidentally the product was terrible quality and not the measurements advertised). Avoid.

Wow... I really should have looked this company up before buying. Ordered something using Next Day Delivery that hasn't turned up two days later, no communication whatsoever, no dispatch email, and now looking at all these recent reviews with the same problem, I know I won't be getting it for a while.

I've seen the responses from the company saying the reason for the delays is because of warehouse issues. Surely the SENSIBLE and fair thing to do for customers is to NOT offer next day delivery, then?! Why is this still an option on the website when the company KNOWS they can't deliver next day? I'll tell you why... they're banking on customers not bothering to hassle them about refunding it, so they get to make a bit more money from them in the end.

I placed a substantial order two weeks ago and, aside from a generic update blaming “warehouse issues” sent shortly after, I’ve had no meaningful communication. My email to customer service has gone unanswered, and I’ve now escalated the matter through PayPal.

At this point I want my order cancelled and a full refund. My trust in this company has completely gone. They’re still advertising on Facebook and continuing to take new orders, which makes the silence even more frustrating. I am very concerned that I have lost this money.

I will never order from this company again! Ordered an outfit for holiday well in advance to be told there were some difficulties getting the orders out. Because it wouldn’t arrive In time for my holiday I’ve since emailed several times for a refund and still haven’t received a response. AVOID!!
