Abysmal claims handling & severe delays — completely unresponsive and stranded vehicle
I had an accident on October 23, and dealing with Sonnet / Definity claims has been an absolute nightmare.
My vehicle has been sitting stranded at a dealership lot for over a week because Sonnet and their third-party adjusters (Sedgwick) cannot even manage to coordinate a basic tow truck. First, I was told a tow was dispatched on Wednesday, but days passed and no tow truck ever arrived or contacted the dealership.
Every time I follow up, I get vague assurances or radio silence, while my car sits completely untouched and non-drivable. The lack of accountability, communication breakdown, and sheer incompetence in handling a straightforward claim is shocking.
If you are considering Sonnet, beware: when an actual accident happens and you need their support, you will be left completely on your own chasing them down. Completely unacceptable service.

The process was quick and easy, you could make your customizations right on line, finalize your quote online, and have a policy all lined up without ever speaking to a real person and having to depend on being available during business hours.
Sonnet also have their SonnetShift, which I thought was such a forward way to do insurance, and offers discounts based on your driving at 3 month intervals instead of renewal for safe driving.

I was refused to insure my rental property without a reason
I just bought Sonnet for my primary residence and hoped to buy another one for my rental condo, but was refused. Even I already had Sonnet insurance for this rental property and never claimed any damage. Cannot understand your logic. If I knew this outcome, I would go to some other place.

No option for quarterly payments
Actually was sort of easy but didn't give an option for paying quarterly, would have been easier financially. Plus thought I would get a discount going through my union but I didn't.
