Everything went wrong
Everything went wrong! You wanted to charge me double for moving hotel date by 1 week! The hotel was fine! You sucked! Loser of a company!
LM do the job, not always providing helpful customer service but are competitively priced.
I booked with LM through SkyScanner so the heavy lifting of searching was all done for me prior to reaching the website. The booking process was straightforward and I received a confirmation email promptly.
I use LM for the specific long haul route that I travel as they often are cheaper than the competition by a few hundred pounds, making them an obvious choice. The customer service is not always incredibly helpful, in my experience the agents have navigated me straight to the airlines with my query, and often the airlines navigate me back to LM as they are the third party booking service, so sometimes if a query has come up I’ve felt a little passed from pillar to post.
I have never had an issue with boarding a flight, cheaper often means taking multiple legs for my journey but I have always been treated well by the airlines and never had an issue checking in and obtaining boarding passes.
I booked a business class ticket and got a ticket with wrong title
I booked a business class ticket through lastminute.com. During the booking process, the only female title available was "MS", which I selected for my wife. The ticket was then issued with the title "MR". When I contacted customer service for assistance, I was told to contact the airline myself. During subsequent chats, the advisers ended the conversation abruptly before the issue was resolved. I would have expected a travel agent handling the booking to assist in correcting an apparent booking error, particularly given the cost of the ticket. Very disappointing customer service experience.
Poor quality hotel for '5 stars'.
I don't think Last Minute are doing anything wrong, the website is very good and easy to navigate, and they have the reviews for the accommodation there to read through. Sometimes it's just the luck of the draw.
Very horrible customer service
Very horrible customer service. If something happens, even if your flight gets canceled because of their technical issues, they would tell you that you can't speak to anyone at the airport, but they claim its over the phone. So, I was told that I should have payed a difference for the next day flight which I missed because of their fault, completely. They said they would hey reimburse my money after I speak with the customer service on tge phone, but they never did. They are scamers and very dishonest. I am an American, and I am currently in a different country, but I would never leave this scam airline. The only good thing about them is the flight attendants are very respectful and humble, I have to be honest. However, if you miss your flight by any means, no body would get back to you. They are liars and unprofessional. I missed my flight because of their fault, 100%, and payed the difference and I still didn't get my money back. They made me write my expenses and all, but nothing yet.
Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service. Nikhil = five star. Thank you.
‘Confirmed’ Means NOTHING With Lastminute.com
Absolutely unacceptable — I would strongly advise people to think twice before booking with Lastminute.com.
This is now the second time they have cancelled my flight after I booked, leaving me scrambling to find another ticket while prices continue to rise.
What makes this particularly unacceptable is that I received a confirmation email clearly stating that my booking was confirmed. As a customer, that gives you every reason to believe the flight is secured and that you can stop shopping around for alternatives.
That confirmation turned out to be completely unreliable.
To send a customer an email stating that a booking is “confirmed”, only to later cancel it, is in my view highly misleading. I relied on that confirmation and, during the time that passed, other fares increased and better-value alternatives disappeared. Their actions have therefore directly eaten into the time I had available to secure another good deal.
This is not a minor inconvenience. People make plans, book accommodation, arrange transport and organise their lives around confirmed flights. If Lastminute.com cannot actually guarantee that a supposedly confirmed reservation is secure, then the word “confirmed” becomes virtually meaningless.
What makes the situation worse is the complete lack of accountability. Rather than taking responsibility for the disruption and financial disadvantage their cancellation has caused, I’ve been left to deal with the consequences myself.
There is also no straightforward customer service phone line where you can actually speak to somebody and resolve the issue properly, which makes an already stressful situation even worse.
After this happening to me twice, I simply cannot trust Lastminute.com with an important booking again.
My advice to anyone tempted by a slightly cheaper fare: book directly with the airline if you can. A “confirmed” email is not worth much if the booking can subsequently be cancelled and you are left chasing support while replacement fares rise.
Extremely poor experience and completely unacceptable customer service.
Horrendous experience with Lastminute.com
They had overbooked Hotel Pyria. I saw an email whilst on the plane. I was placed into inferior hotel, Asterias Village - it was an awful, experience. There was no help down 5 flights of concrete steps. Transfer company LMK and desk agents at desk 1B were rude, unprofessional. The driver shouted at me as I could not connect to the mobile network and did not know the full name of hotel,(I only had Asterias and stated it was approximately 300m from Pyria, that is all I could remember). Although I had called LMK beforehand whilst on the plane in the UK to let them know the flight was delayed and verify that they had the details about the overbooking to the Asterias Village hotel, as I had just seen the email and the flight was delayed. This was the most unprofessional awful start to an 8 day break, after a bereavement. The customer agents, two women in their 20's the black haired woman was in charge. At the Desk 1B in Heraklion Airport. These agents are the most rude, unprofessional and lacking any type of customer care. When I asked for the company name of the transfer, the Black haired agent, came shouting 'no, no, no', and the second brown haired woman said I am not allowed to tell you. This is after the transport driver, shouted at me, tried to remove my bags from the transport in front the entire group of people, because I asked him not to shout as I was just talking with him. I was fortunate that a couple from Bavaria, hot spotted me and I was able to find the name which was Asterias Village (I already said Asterias). I sat on the bus crying behind my sunglasses. When we stopped the driver had the audacity to say, oh you are here now it is ok. He knew it was wrong as he kept asking the bus everyone ok, I did not reply. After I was dumped at a hotel, looking at 5 flights of steep concrete steps with no help. My original hotel is billed as over 18, with 3 pools, this hotel had a tiny pool full of children and their parents. The interior of the room was shockingly below standard, just unbelievable. I rang the original hotel upset and told them, who sent a taxi to collect me. I had to return to Asterias Village hotel to sleep and left as soon as possible in the morning - I have pictures of the interior, video of the broken things in the shower. I still paid the local tax. This was a terrible experience having just travelled from the UK, hot, upset and needing to unwind. And there was no apology from last minute.com they did not contact me at all. And according to the Hotel Pyria, Lastminute.com booked the room after the hotel had closed sales.
easy to book
easy to book. Holiday was comfortable and pleasant. Enjoyed Naxos thoroughly.
Day 7 now and no confirmed booking...
Day 7 now and i still have no confirmation on my flight and hotel booking. The terms say it may take uo to 72 hrs to confirm but who cares. Daily customer service calls and online chats and not a single associate is able to fix this. Honestly don't know why I have chosen lastminute.com from start, it may have been a last minute choice but certainly a mistake. Avoid them at all cost.
Worst hotel, DO NOT STAY HERE!
The hotel rooms are dated, the hairdryer fixed to the bathroom wall had no electricity power to it. There were two mirrored fixed light panels and only one of them worked. There were so many unnecessary cupboards in the room, all full of dust (I took pictures of this). To top it off, in the cabinet below the TV there were some tablets from a previous guest which my 2 year old found who put in her mouth. Luckily I saw a took them out. No idea what the tablets were as the pill strip had been cut. I complained to the reception desk and have written a formal complaint, however not heard anything back yet. The cleaning is poorly managed as this should not have happened ever. I would never stay here again.

Lovely place the only problem was when we were leaving they would not give us a drink or food as the holiday cost my mother in law £4000 for three nights for six of us wanted to charge us £3.50 a bag to store
I never complain as the rooms were spotless
But little things go a long way
