They charge VAT but they dont pay it!!
I ordered and paid including GBP 20% VAT. I waited ages to have them delivered then they get stopped by customs at Royal mail asking for the VAT to be paid plus customs fees adding upto £73.33p. I didnt expect the items to be sent from Germany as I paid in GBP and paid VAT. Items are being returned and I want a FULL refund.

Lousy service and follow-up! To start with, my package is more than 1 week later than promised and now I'm getting a message from the transportation company that there is a surcharge that I need to pay....! Something which was not communicated at the start of the process.... Very unhappy customer!

Very disappointing experience with KICKZ.
I purchased a pair of basketball shoes that turned out to be extremely slippery on the court, making them unsafe to use during normal basketball play. My son has been playing basketball for over 8 years and has used many pairs of basketball shoes (including Nike models) without ever experiencing this issue.
After only a few minutes of use, the shoes caused him to slip badly on the court, creating a real risk of injury. Because of this, the shoes are simply not usable for their intended purpose.
I contacted customer service and explained the situation, but after their “internal review” they refused to offer a refund or replacement, claiming the product meets their quality standards.
It is very disappointing that a company specializing in basketball products does not take safety concerns seriously. Basketball shoes that slip on a basketball court are clearly not fit for purpose.
I would not recommend buying from KICKZ based on this experience.
KickZ claims that my order (KS2157507) “does not exist,” which is completely false. I have all confirmations, receipts, and proof of payment. My review is an accurate reflection of my experience, and I shared it to warn other customers. I encourage KickZ to check their records carefully before making false statements.
