My review of the 2026 Honda CRV hybrid…

My review of the 2026 Honda CRV hybrid sport model.

I would like to begin by stating that I have driven the vehicle approximately 1,000 miles over one month.

Unfortunately, I cannot say anything positive about the vehicle.

Here are the problems that I have experience so far:

1-There is a noise coming from the back of the vehicle that happens whenever I put the vehicle into reverse or go over a speed bump.

2- The brakes are very grabby and when applying them they make a noise.

3- The ride quality is at pour. Road noise makes my ears bleed and going over even a small imperfection in the road causes the whole vehicle to vibrate.

4- The Korean made Hankook Tires are junk. I have no idea, except to earn a few more dollars, why Honda would put such awful tires on a vehicle that cost $40,000+. Tires are so noisy they pick up all of the road noise.

5- The infotainment system it's so frustrating it needs to be replaced. I suspect the software is probably 7 years old at minimum.

And of course when I took it back to the dealer he told me that why what I was experiencing was normal for a Honda hybrid.

Are you kidding me?

Honda boat motors in Sweden

Honda boat motors is not suited for the Swedish petrol. But they don’t take any responsibility to fix the issue when you talk to higher bosses. They only tell you to go to an mechanic to fix the problem. No more Honda motor on my boat !!

Honda now makes the most unreliable…

Honda now makes the most unreliable cars now. Im talking worse than a 100k mile range rover. my 26 civic touring had the engine light come on and disabled the accelerator when I was on a main road. the car had less than 7,000 miles when this happened. The saying "honda is reliable" is now in the past. Now they are building cars with such horrible reliability I probably would have been better off buying a range rover with 100k miles and 3 accidents. I hope honda stops making cars because its not worth making it if its gonna have issues. 0/100

How I Almost Paid $3,800 for a Repair That Ended Up Being Covered By Honda: What Every Customer Should Know Before Trusting a Dealership Diagnosis

This began as what I was told was a nearly **$3,800 A/C repair** on my 2019 Honda with just over 61,000 miles. What followed was over a month of phone calls, emails, corporate case management, technical research, and repeating requests for documentation before I finally received a complete explanation of what had actually happened to my vehicle.

The most frustrating part wasn't that my car needed repairs-- it was how difficult it was to obtain clear, consistent information.

When I initially picked up my vehicle after paying a $234.95 diagnostic fee, I was told my compressor, clutch, and coil had failed. I repeatedly asked for the diagnostic measurements that supported this conclusion, including refrigerant readings, leak test results, voltage measurements, and technician findings. I was repeatedly told those readings did not exist or were "N/A."

I also repeatedly asked whether any refrigerant leak had been identified. At no point during those early conversations with the service advisor, service director, or Honda corporate was I informed that the technician had identified a compressor shaft seal failure.

Only after weeks of persistent follow-up, a corporate case, multiple written requests, and public reviews did I receive an explanation from the assistant manager that the compressor shaft seal had failed, allowing refrigerant and compressor oil to leak, ultimately contaminating and damaging the clutch and coil assembly.

That explanation changed my understanding of the repair entirely.

To the dealership's credit, assistant manager Joe eventually stepped in, reviewed the case personally, acknowledged that the shaft seal leak should have been communicated to me from the beginning, is currently working to refund my diagnostic fee, obtained Honda approval to cover the compressor, clutch, coil, labor, and refrigerant, and worked toward resolving the situation professionally. I genuinely appreciate his efforts.

Unfortunately, my experience before that point was the opposite.

I was left feeling dismissed when asking reasonable technical questions, specifically when dealing with the director Rick Tillotson. Calls were not returned as promised, which is what prompted me to start writing reviews, because that was the only way to get anyone's attention.

At another point, I was initially told I could not retrieve my vehicle, only to have that position change after my husband became involved. Whether intentional or not, the difference in how those interactions felt is something I can't ignore, especially as a woman.

I believe large corporations have a responsibility to examine the cultures and incentives they create. When communication repeatedly breaks down, customers receive inconsistent explanations, or people feel pressured into decisions they don't fully understand, those are often symptoms of larger organizational issues-- not just individual mistakes. Frontline employees, like service advisors, assistant managers, and technicians, shouldn't be expected to absorb the full weight of customer frustration if they're operating within a system they didn't design. Leadership and corporate levels should be just as accountable, if not more, for creating transparent, ethical customer experiences.

This review is about a system that too often leaves customers at an information disadvantage. Most people are not automotive experts. They rely on dealerships to explain complex repairs honestly, completely, and in plain language. Customers should not have to become amateur mechanics, research service bulletins, contact corporate repeatedly, and escalate publicly simply to understand why they are being asked to spend thousands of dollars.

For those interested, I've documented the full timeline, steps I took, and what I learned about protecting yourself during major car repairs below.

It will not let me post a link, but if you go to Quora and search the title *How I Almost Paid $3,800 for a Repair That Ended Up Being Covered By Honda: What Every Customer Should Know Before Trusting a Dealership Diagnosis*

If I could give this place a negative…

If I could give this place a negative star rating, I would, first and foremost! After my Honda Ridgeline, leased from Serra, and was completed after three years, I turned the leased vehicle back into Serra of Grandville, on April 17, 2026. The leased vehicle was in pristine, mint condition — spotless inside and out — and had over 5,000 miles remaining under the lease mileage allowance. I even left them nice leather key fob covers with the turn-in, and also some extra perks that I probably shouldn’t have — I.e. all season mats etc that I paid extra for…

—At the dealership’s instruction, I left my license plates with them because they promised to handle proper disposal.

That never happened. Because the plates were never removed or surrendered. Two months later, I am receiving out-of-state toll notices from Illinois for a car I no longer own, drive, or control. Clearly, someone at, Serra Honda, dropped the ball! They seem to excel at wasting customers time and money.

When I tried to resolve this matter, Monday June 22 at approximately 6:30PM with, Johnathan Yaklin, who identified himself as the preowned cars manager, who was incidentally most unhelpful, not to mention, completely passed the buck. He went so far as to claim that “Serra Honda” somehow did not take possession/ownership of the vehicle, and that I essentially just “dropped the car off” and they did me a huge favor, letting me use the dealership as a “transitional parking lot.” —That is not only false, it is one of the most unacceptable things I’ve ever heard from a business.

I am extremely disappointed and very unhappy with this entire experience. I delivered a flawless car, well under the mileage limit, and trusted the dealership to handle a basic lease-return task in good faith. Instead, I’ve been met with lies, blame-shifting, and outright bad faith.

I put this right up there with a left rear “brake hose repair they couldn’t resolve in a reasonable amount of time either. Serra/(Honda), all the same entity, even know they try to hide behind different departments of the same entity for strategic accountability/ reasons and manipulation. This place couldn’t even produce a simple little piece of plastic tubing hose, on a brand new vehicle, under full manufacturer warranty, that left the vehicle and me stranded, and unable to drive the car for three months. Mind you, while I still had to make the hefty car payments, including insurance, hence, why Serra, received a vehicle back with 5k less miles than they deserved under the lease contract of 30k miles. Much to my loss on the deal, all said and done. However, they never did compensate me for that that loss on the deal, but we’ll save that for another review/complaint. Needless to say, if you value your “hard earned money and time” don’t walk, run from this dealership, and never look back!

Harini Honda replace old tyre & battery for warranty period service

Harini Honda has been serving very worst in Nagercoil during free service as they replaced my new battery with old battery during second service of Honda Activa 125 on 17/06/2026. I had a disappointing experience at the Honda dealer in Stamford. I expected better customer service and communication. During my visit, I felt that my concerns were not properly addressed, and the process was frustrating. I experienced delays and lack of clear information regarding my vehicle/service. As a customer , I believe communication and professionalism are very important, and unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations. I hope the dealership takes customer feedback seriously and improves the experience for future customers.

Having second thoughts about the service department

My local Honda dealership is struggling. They’re running on fumes and skeleton crew staffing. Wait times have increased at this location even when you arrive upon opening doors. Honda did not use to do a surcharge fee for credit cards now they do starting in 2026. Honda is a large business and should be able to absorb this cost. The rep I had used for years finally retired. I got assigned to a new rep and while they have excellent customer service it isn’t the same. I’m not a fan of texting or straight to voice mail when your vehicle is completed. Some times my phone blocks these or other times calls go straight to voice mail when I could of answered it. I’m not a fan of this. Many dealerships are practicing this. What happened to go over to someone and say “Your vehicle is completed.” Since my local Honda reduced staffing I noticed wait times have increased. Oil changes use to be less than an hour now you’re waiting up to 70-90 min. They always find additional things to piece onto your visit and I usually get a second opinion on them before it is completed. I trust them but I have had issues with smaller shops where they intentionally “make” business Honda does not practice this but it has felt a little off the last couple times I have gone in. I usually trust my gut when I get this feeling. Overall Honda has been trustworthy but I have considered to go back to my local mechanic shop I trust and have used for years with other vehicles. Hondas prices have gone up and while some of it is the tariffs it feels like it has gotten priced higher than it should be. I will go back to using my trusted mechanic I used before I bought my Honda.

Brand new 2026 Honda CRV

I bought a brand new 2026 Honda CRV, we had deer damage after having it for about a month and a half (barely hit the deer), drove it okay for 3 weeks and then all of a sudden all the warning symbols flashed up on the dash, it started smoking and then completely shut off and wouldn’t turn back on… having to be towed. It went to Spitzer Honda in Dubois PA and was supposedly fixed (after a horrible experience with them due to poor communication and horrible attitudes). I had it back a couple weeks and all the lights started flashing up on the dash again, I tried taking it back to Delaney Honda in Indiana PA (where the vehicle was purchased) and they didn’t want to touch it, because they said it’s Spitzers problem since they didn’t fix it properly the first time and that this won’t be warranty covered due to us hitting the deer. I have been told so many times that there’s nothing wrong with this vehicle because “it’s not throwing a code”, but a brand new vehicle should not have lights flashing up on the dash constantly and having me worried it’s going to break down again when this is my daily driver that I put two young kids in every day. This is the first Honda I have ever had and I honestly have nothing good to say about the Honda brand or the dealerships I’ve had to deal with. This is honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a vehicle.

My Honda accord 2019 fails condenser and Evaporator

My Honda accord 2019 fails condenser and Evaporator last year and paid $2500 to replace Evaporator, Condenser still in extend warrantee, I think it is cheaper to replace. I searched online most of the car Evaporators should not fails/leaks before 100k miles, why Honda, Poor component/parts to build.

I sent letter to AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO., INC complained about the issue, They asked me to mail all the Repair Invoice for repair/service from dealer and I did but final decision they denied to pay the repair because Evaporator is not extend warrantee, only Condenser.

I owned at least 5 Honda cars in the past but might be no more from now because parts/components are poor and not cover as the other cars. As yourself who bought the car and paid $2500 for Evaporator in 6 years, and we are living in San Diego CA, not using much AC. Only 1 or 2 months during summer.

I hope more people should feedback the issue to Honda Motor Co to get attention.

My complaint with Honda Motor Co Case #: 16221997 so they can look for all the true what I posted here.

I've owned 6 Hondas in my extended…

I've owned 6 Hondas in my extended lifetime. I bought my first brand new Honda however, in 2020 and the Honda experience has gone downhill ever since. They quality of the vehicle (Passport) is okay, but the Honda console is complete crap, with constant issues that are well known, but never resolved. Lately I had a battery issue (100 mo Honda battery) and requested American Honda reimburse me for replacing it within 38 months. After multiple emails, dealer help calls, phone calls with Honda reps, I was told I would get a reimbursement check, but it's been 4 months and now they say they haven't yet "approves" the check. in this time I found that I have at least 1 unresolved recall issue (from Honda paperwork), while Honda service says there is no recalls! I'm done with Honda.

In less than two months, I had to have the car towed back to the dealer with a hybrid battery problem that apparently, is not covered I the warranty so I had to pay for when the car was towed to Honda! Surprise, the hybrid battery was faulty and Honda would not cover the cost two months Afye the purchase! Watch out for the sleek talk about hybrid Honda cars and the warranty business. Honda Refusal to Replace Seat Cushion on 2026 Passport

I have a deformed seat cushion on my new 2026 Honda Passport. Honda refused to replace it. The NCDS arbitrator decided on behalf of the car manufacturer. According to AI they do that 80% of the time! That certainly does not indicate an unbiased arbitration process. Not surprising since they are funded by the car manufacturers! There needs to be a better unbiased process that is reflected in NCDS statistics!
