Warranty Exists on Paper Only
We purchased the floor less than five years ago, and had it professionally installed by our own contractor. From the beginning, one of the planks appeared faulty — it had a noticeably different and faded color compared to the rest. At the time, we didn’t give it much attention, but recently, the upper layer of that plank detached completely and popped off.
When we contacted FloorHouse and provided all the relevant information, including detailed photos, we were informed that their manufacturer—based solely on those photos—had determined the damage was due to improper use, and therefore not covered by the warranty.
According to FloorHouse’s own terms and conditions, the manufacturer offers a warranty of at least 7 years, depending on the product. We are well within that timeframe. However, it appears that in practice, any claim is dismissed with the assumption that the customer misused the product.
An additional concern relates to FloorHouse’s customer support. They have been unwilling to address direct questions and have responded dismissively, showing irritation rather than offering assistance.
We find this unacceptable and will be filing an official complaint.

7 weeks for delivery - not good service
Waited 7 weeks for floor to be delivered, after being told it would be 2 weeks. Each week promised it would be the next week. They scheduled the delivered finally between 1:00pm and 6:00pm and called at 5pm to say they weren't coming, that it would be the next day at 8:00am after we waited all afternoon for the delivery. We ordered the rest of our floor from Thirry Paints and it was ordered and delivered, for a much larger quantity, in less than a week.

A delayed delivery can be a problem because most of our customers already have made concrete plans for their renovation project. We absolutely understand that and that’s why we try to ship all goods as fast as possible. But how successful we are, depends also on how quick our manufacturers can provide the ordered floors (unless we have them in stock).
You didn’t give your customerdetails in your review. Would it be possible to send us an e-mail to info@floorhouse.be with your customer number or order number so that we can have a look in the order history and search for the reason why you had to wait so long? We would be happy to identify the problem and to find a solution together with our manufacturer.
