First time using Autos Victoria and they were fantastic. I did call the office as we were already on the island and the team were very professional. The process was simple and all documents and payments are done online. We requested a small car (which is perfect for Menorca) and got what looked like a brand new Corsa.
Honestly can’t fault them.

We booked on an AMEX credit card and when we got to the garage to collect the car they said they didn't accept AMEX for the £1600 deposit they require and don't allow you to put it on a debit card. They did not email me about this but said it was in the small print of the Ts and Cs. They instead made me pay an extra £270 for the 5 days we rented the car for. Absoulte rip off. On top of that I've never seen a car with more damage, dents and damages + the car was filthy on the outside!

I'm leaving a review because it's difficult to find good car hire companies. We didn't know about Autosmenorca, but went ahead with a booking (through DiscoverCars) given the fairly positive reviews. An easy-to-find shuttle picks you up at the airport and drives you 5 min to their office. All staff were attentive. They offered full insurance, but didn't press when we declined (had separate excess coverage). They will take a hold on your credit card for petrol (100 euros) and excess (945 euros). This was paid off immediately after we returned the car. The return process was also straightforward.

We hired a car in Menorca with Autosmenorca for a week and would recommend their services.
Autosmenorca had great, competitive pricing.

A shuttle car picked us up at the airport car park to take us to the location to pick up the hire car (5-10mins drive away).
On arrival, there was already a shuttle car there. On drop off, we waited 5-10mins for the shuttle back to the airport.

Collecting the car was quick and efficient. I would recommend taking a video/photos of the condition of the car before driving, so that when you drop off the car, any disputes about marks/damage can be proven as required.

What they don’t tell you !!
You wait half an hour in the heat at the airport for a “shuttle bus” which is in fact a small mini bus in a large queue…..then when you reach the office you take a ticket from the machine & wait in another large queue of people for another half an hour (at least) to be seen by only 3 customer advisors!!!!
Not good customer service at all.

Very bad surprise when we get back the car, they registered us a damage we didn’t done taking our deposit.
We didn’t received the contract at the beginning with this damage registration at all because they didn’t wrote well the email address.

Wouldn't recommend using this company
Not made clear to us before arrival that we needed a credit card in the drivers name, had one in a spouses name but they refused this and forced us to pay an additional €160 for insurance when we had already paid for this through an external company. Refused to offer any other options for us. Don't use them.

Not possible to rent with a débit card. Had to pay extra 300€ for insurance ( 3 times the rental cost!)

Pleasant, helpful staff who were happy to use English where necessary but also allowed us to hablar espanol. Great car! A small criticism - locating the representative at the airport was a little confusing. Overall, muy bien.
