“Heavy Duty Ring Openers” lacking leverage, therefore not fit for purpose.
I purchased the heavy duty ring openers and received them quickly, however I found them not fit for purpose or as advertised. Sure, they appear to be sturdy and well made, but the handles were flexing in my hands when I tried opening heavy gauge stainless steel rings. I even heated the rings up in boiling water before using the pliers. Still no movement. I know it’s definitely not my grip strength, so the only thing I can put it down to is poor engineering. The handles do not have sufficient leverage because they are too short. How many bolt cutters do you see with short handles? Same principle applies but in reverse.
UPDATE: Sent email with pictures. Awaiting reply.
Updated Edit: Email response received quickly with a more than effective resolution.

Thanks for the feedback. A few points worth clarifying for anyone reading: the Colossal pliers are spec'd to open rings up to 8mm in thickness, and they work via the allen-key adjustment setting the jaws' internal diameter to match the ring being opened. If the jaws aren't sized to the specific ring, they won't engage properly to spread it — the mechanism relies on precision fit, not just raw handle leverage.

Waste of my money
Products were a complete scam, nothing was as it was advertised. I spent $50 on piercings for ants, my labret bars barely fit even halfway through my lip. Complete waste of money & screwed me over with delivery as it arrived 3 days before it said it was supposed to so I wasn’t home to receive and had to go out of my way to collect it elsewhere.

Sizing: each of these pieces of body jewellery you purchased are only sold in a single, fixed size, and that size (gauge, post length and Internal Diameter) is displayed clearly on the product page — there's no variant to choose other than colour. The dimensions shown on the listing are the dimensions of the item that arrives. If those measurements don't suit the wearer's anatomy, the piece won't sit correctly, which is what appears to have happened here. We'd be glad to help you find pieces in dimensions that work for you, and exchange any unworn items.
Delivery: stated windows are Australia Post estimates and parcels occasionally arrive ahead of schedule. Most customers see early arrival as a plus, but we understand it didn't suit your timing.

Accidentally did not select Express Shopping and emailed to see if I could add it. Olivia got back to me almost immediately and upgraded my postage for free as I needed the jewellery for a wedding. Excellent customer service and I’m so excited for my plugs to arrive!

Fantastic company and great service!! I ordered 2 pairs of plugs and a flat back bar for my helix piercing. I made a mistake in my order (I was flipping back and forth between styles and accidentally added the wrong sized plugs, didn’t notice until after I had placed the order) and the team were happy to swap them out for the correct size with no issues! They were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to resolve my error when they didn’t have to.
I really value and appreciate good customer service so I will 100% be a return customer. The jewellery is also excellent quality and looks exactly as advertised. 10/10!!

Thanks for the feedback — sorry to hear you've had trouble getting the ball back in. For context for anyone reading: a 2ga (6mm) Ball Closure Ring is a heavy-gauge piece, and at that thickness it can't be opened or closed by hand. It needs ring-opening pliers, which is standard practice for any BCR at the larger gauges. The good news is we stock the right pliers on our site, and there's a guide on closing BCRs in our help section.
