It was the worst flight as I was…

It was the worst flight as I was travelling with my elderly parents. Broken, uncomfortable and filthy seats, interior and the lavatory. Food was just average. As I'm a frequent flyer and have never experienced anything like this that I did on my recent flight on PIA with the new owners it was pathetic. PIA used to give senior citizen discount they finished that as well. The only good was the ground and onboard staff who were cooperative.

So PIA recently started their operations in London. Like everyone else I heard that it was privatised and now much better service. The plane is so old and stinky the seats are coming off shit stains everywhere. The air hostess are all aunties with anger issues. They have turned off the call button so if you need anything you get it yourself. Horrible experience. Just to top it up the experience costed me 5k and their rice and chicken gave me explosive diarrhea

AMER HUSSAIN - Great Customer Service

I recently had a trip from London Heathrow to Islamabad return flight, both ways the flights were absolutely safe and full of comforts where I feel that my confidence on PIA has been restored after many years. I will particularly mention AMER Hussain a crew member who has been caring to all passengers professionaly, his kind humble and great attitude compelled me to write this review. Thank You AMER HUSSAIN and thank you PIA.
I surely recommend to fly with PIA.
Thank you

Absolutely appalling experience with…

Absolutely appalling experience with PIA. My elderly grandmother was checked in for her flight from Islamabad to Manchester, her baggage was accepted and she was given a boarding pass. After hours of being passed between staff, they refused to properly verify her valid UK visa, took her boarding pass away and sent her home. Her luggage was then apparently sent to Manchester without her.

She was left distressed for around four hours, while staff passed responsibility from one person to another. To make matters worse, I have tried repeatedly to contact PIA in Pakistan and the UK, but almost every number is either dead or nobody answers.

For an international airline, the lack of communication, care and basic customer service is shocking. My elderly grandmother was treated terribly, and we are still trying to find out where her luggage is. Completely unacceptable.

Worst flight experience of my life

I travelled from Madina to faisalabad on the 3rd of June 2026. The staff was terrible. There was specifically a flight attendant with long beard and was 50+ years old who was very rude with everyone on the plane. That flight attendant was taunting the passengers and behaving very poorly. I have been travelling for 30 years and i can confim that this was the worst experience i have had. I can't rate 0 stars that's why I'm giving one star. Very bad experience, i wouldn't recommend.

PIA cancels flights and then does not…

PIA cancels flights and then does not give a refund. It should be automatically refunded if the flight never takes off but they make you submit a request and then make you wait for weeks. Sometimes they don’t even process it, which led me to write this review. Keeping money for a flight that never happened… unbelievable. The customer service teams seems very understaffed, probably underpaid too. All in all a terrible customer experience.

No1 Worst Airline/Customer Service

As a travel agent, i refuse to deal with these joke people.
Disgrace to the country, should all be charged with treason. Customer service does not exist. Airline should be banned altogether indefinitely. Disgrace

One of the worst airline

One of the worst airline. I booked wheel chair assistance for my mother but they had no staff for it and said it's your mistake as you dont have a medical certificate but it was not mentioned any where, so had to wait for two hours to get assistance plus assistant asked for extra money to bring luggage in as per him that was not his duty.
And keep in mind no one would pick their as thwir all numbers are busy everytime.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Pakistan International Airlines. Their customer service was extremely rude and unhelpful. Instead of resolving the issue, they told me to visit the airline office in person, even though the office is two hours away from my home. Customers should not have to waste time and money just to get basic support after purchasing a ticket.
The airline is expensive, yet the service is irresponsible and unprofessional. They delay responses, ignore customer concerns, and make the refund process very difficult. In my experience, they do not value their customers at all. I would strongly recommend travelers choose another airline, even if the ticket costs more, because better customer service and reliability are worth it.

My first experience with PIA was very disappointing. At check‑in, I was charged AED 150 for my 9 kg hand carry, and even my laptop bag was weighed and included, which felt unfair. Inside the aircraft, the cabin was hot and had a bad smell, the female crew members were rude and impolite, and my seat was loose and kept shaking. PIA stands for Pain In the Ass

PIA stands for Pain In the Ass. We travelled from Heathrow to Islamabad recently on Economy Plus. Paid £1500. There was no media entertainment nor was there a phone charger. This is Economy plus, what would standard economy be like. The plane looked at least 20 years old. When we complained to PIA head office few days later, they actually swore at me and blocked me. The worst flight experience in my life. If you don’t believe me, book with PIA for your next trip! I will be taking this matter with ABTA and airline ombudsman.

Reality of PIA

pakistans most trusted and known airline made my flying experience a living hell. The most uncomfortable 8-hour flight I had back from Qatar to Pakistan, Qatar Airlines provided every necessity. Despite paying the full cost, they charged me for lunch, in which I got nothing but peanuts and some sandwiches. They were not up to the mark, but the crew was well-mannered puppets

Worst Travel Experience – Stressful, Unprofessional, and Completely Disappointing

This was honestly one of the worst and most stressful travel experiences of my life with Pakistan International Airlines, and something I will not forget.

A day before my flight, I started facing issues and tried to contact their customer service for help. I called continuously for around 3 hours on two different numbers, but no one answered. On the day of the flight, I again spent another 3 hours calling — still no response. I sent emails, but they were completely ignored. When I tried messaging them, I was shocked to find myself blocked. At that point, I felt completely helpless and unsupported.

At the airport, things only got worse. The boarding process was extremely disorganised. The staff member handling it seemed like he didn’t know what he was doing, and it took nearly 50 minutes just to complete boarding. We were left rushing and stressing, barely managing to catch the flight at the very last moment.

Unfortunately, the experience onboard was just as disappointing. The cabin crew, especially two air hostesses, were very rude and lacked basic manners. Their behaviour towards passengers was unacceptable. Despite asking multiple times, they didn’t even provide a simple glass of water. It felt like passengers were being ignored completely, and there was no sense of care or professionalism.

From the moment I tried to seek help before the flight to the treatment onboard, the entire journey was filled with frustration, stress, and disappointment. This experience has completely broken my trust, and I would never choose to travel with them again.

Direct flight from Islamabad to Heathrow Airport

Direct flight from Islamabad to Heathrow direct flight was a luxurious experience for us. In 7 hours 20 minutes direct flight arrived in London. From check-in to boarding, everything was smooth and well-organised. The staff were helpful and professional, making the journey comfortable and stress-free, variety of food option for everyone. Free WiFi to access their entertainment Service on personal devices. I would definitely recommend it. Pakistan and PIA zindabad

I booked a flight over 4months ago to go from Islamabad to Gilgit on the 7th of May. I received a email last night confirming my flight was canceled with no explication,..just that I had to contact the PIA customer service.
I've just contacted them and the person I had on the phone just bluntly said that PIA will not provide a alternative or a refund.
As a european I am honestly shocked.
