their "lifetime warranty" is worthless

Misrepresentation of "lifetime warranty" which they wholeheartedly use as a huge selling point of hiring them. They did so when we got windows from them which many of them had seal failure and look awful.. They replaced 8 or 9 sashes in 2024 at no cost - the way it should be. A few months later we let them know we had 2 more windows with seal failure including one of our largest windows that we look out of quite a lot. They said it was discontinued, and that since our product warranty is from NBP not them, its not their problem but as big favor they'll replace them for *only* $180 per sash (aka per half window) instead of $0 as promised. We called in January and they scheduled the replacement for May... bummer but okay. Then in May they let us know we have a new appointment instead, in August... we also got a roof and gutters from them and they made a MESS. and now we're very worried what happens if theres any defective roofing products that might get discounted and cost who knows how much to replace... Hire anyone else. Stay away from these crooks. This is NOT a case of getting what you paid for, theyre much more expensive than anyone else and they sure as heck aren't better.

DON"T HAVE POWER DO ANT WORK FOR YOU!!!!!!!if I could give this company a negative 100 I would, they don't seem to want or do stand behind their product and nor the customers rights. I had Power Windows install 5 windows a front door and a sliding glass door in 2024 with a life time warranty. The 15th of Aug Denver Colo finally got some rain after over a year without any to speak of. all the windows and glass door leak, called them up and they sent out a guy that said that the leaking was from the rain come in was from the roof or the walls?????? I said it should not matter where the rain come from the product was leaking. I sprayed the glass door myself, just as I have sprayed my own home windows they don't leak and they are 20 years old now what is wrong with this picture... I showed the guy that said their windows don't leak the videos I took of the problem right after the rain and the ones I look when I sprayed them myself, I also let him know that the gushing water had gone down the furnace vent into the furnace ducts there is another issue.

I went to bed with a fully paid signed contract… to get a call from Raphael ( a mgr) saying that they couldn’t fulfill the contract… they are refunding me but I still won’t have gutters.
High pressure for getting an answer in the moment but don’t honor the sales. The people I had dealings with were kind and very respectful … that didn’t get me gutters.

Windows Installation

On July 7, 2026, I spoke with Power Home Remodeling team regarding the installation of new windows. The installation took place on July 30, 2026. Despite the initial shock of the cost, I found the experience with Power Home Remodeling to be positive. The company’s staff demonstrated exceptional politeness, professionalism, and effective communication. The cost breakdown was transparent, the attention to detail and execution were commendable. The installation crew performed exceptionally well. The Quality Assurance team provided thorough answers to all the questions during the walkthrough and identified a few existing issues that required our attention. They met their promises, including the timeline. I highly recommend this company.

We received a reminder and a notification that a crew would be arriving on Friday 8/14, so we expected to see several people to provide the installation. Then I received a telephone call informing us (Joe & myself) that a manager would come on by to.make.sure that all was going well with the project. They wanted both of us to be present when the manager came by. Unfortunately, he was later than I expected, so I had.to leave to take an exam.

We have roof and siding jobs done with Power Home Remodeling. Everything went smoothly , money paid then come the big issue: The Andover town put a BIG yellow notice of “ STOP WORK ORDER” in our front door - Power Home did all the works without town permits ☹️. We contacted Power Home Remodeling to resolve the issue with Andover town. It has been 3 weeks and the notice is still there. They have good communication when I have not paid . Once the money has been paid, little or none communication at all ☹️.

Power remodeling is completely inept

Power sales pitch is acceptable, but they are completely inept when it comes to scheduling and customer contact. I waited 3 months for a job to start, and They had completely dropped the job without contacting me

Poor products, poor warranty support, worse general support.

Approximately 10 years ago we purchased 18 windows from Power Home Remodeling. Honestly, they were higher than the average prices we had quotes for, but they included a lifetime warranty. Within a year or two, several of the windows (upper and/or lower section) developed a green, yellow, or brownish "mold" or discoloration within the window panes. We called and PHR honored their warranty and replaced the offending window sections. As the years have gone on, almost every window they installed has developed the same problem - including several of the windows they previously replaced. They always honored their warranty, until...

Six months ago my wife called with 5 more window sections that needed replacing. This time she was told that PHR had developed a "new" manufacturing process for their windows and to replace those 5 would cost us $900! That's NOT how a lifetime warranty works. If PHR elects to redesign a faulty window, it is not my responsibility as their customer to pay for it when I have a warranty claim.

For some as yet unknown reason (unknown to me anyhow) my wife agreed to this charge, and set up an appointment for the windows to be delivered. That was to happen today, but naturally, it did not. We called PHR and were told that "we were not on the list" for delivery today.

After a little more checking, we discovered that PHR charged the wife's credit card $900 YESTERDAY. Odd that they charged her card the day before we were supposed to have windows delivered (that we were not on the list to have delivered).

In summary, their product has been poor for some time. Their warranty support used to be good, but is now horrible. Their overall support is abysmal.

Horrible customer service and horrible quality of windows

We have had every window fail that Power installed and they no longer honor their lifetime warranty. We were told during the sales pitch that they manufacture the windows themselves but found out years later that the windows are from Harvey. They no longer worked with Harvey and were using Pella. Some of the remaining Harvey windows failed (I don't even know how many times the Harvey windows were placed) and some of the windows are now Pella which are now failing as well. I'd give no stars if possible but I guess I have to settle for one. They don't reply to requests for replacements unless they're pressured and have lost some of the requests

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We sincerely apologize for any frustration caused while working with us. We also are sorry to hear about any miscommunication that may have happened between you and our representative. We do not manufacture our windows; we specialize in exterior home renovations and installations, which include windows. Using our highly trained, professional installers, we partner with some of the best manufacturers in the industry.

Unfortunately, your product in question was discontinued by the original manufacturer, who elected not to develop an alternative replacement solution. In response, POWER invested heavily in developing a compatible replacement option and retooling a production line so that replacement products could continue to be manufactured. While we have worked to preserve support for these products, there are additional costs associated with production, and a small portion of those costs are shared with the homeowner rather than requiring them to purchase entirely new windows at full price.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. Please know that this situation is not ideal for us either, and we continue to invest resources to support affected homeowners. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out to us at (888) 736-6335, option 2.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. They use high pressure tactics to get you to agree to overpriced services. Unfortunate We had them do siding and windows. During the siding project they destroyed my screens from the windows project which come with a life time guarantee. I have literally been trying for two years to get my screen repaired that they broke. They were supposed to come out yesterday and never showed. I just called them, was put on hold for 30 minutes and now they are saying they can’t repair my screen until November. They broke my screen on June 2024. Don’t work with these guys you will absolutely regret it.

Power Home Remodeling warranty is…

Power Home Remodeling warranty is misleading. I purchased windows for my entire top floor in 2015 and activated the lifetime warranty. Almost all the windows has failed. I called the warranty department and was told the supplier dont make those windows anymore but they can replace the panels at a cost to me. I asked to speak to a supervisor because that's not what I was told when I purchased the windows back in 2015. No supervisor was available and I was told someone will call me back, I haven't received that call yet and its 2 months later. The craziest part is that I replaced all my windows for my first floor with them in 2024 along with my gutters. Now I'm wondering if that was the right move. Power Home needs to be honest about their warranties of their products

Power Homes is the #1 UN-trusted Company you never want to hire

I don't leave reviews, ever, but this company went out of their way to not care about my situation, so I'm going out of mine to share how much of a scam they are. There selling tactics are predatory, they are not your freind. They don't care what you have going on in life they will show up and not leave. They hire subcontractors who have no idea what they are doing so installations will fail. They will not honor warratnties, and will lie to get around them. And then they will laugh at you on the phone instead of trying to create a solution for you.

Is there 0 Stars?

Is there 0 Stars? I bought my house in an estate sale only to find out after some renovations there was a leak under a Power Home Remodeling Door. They apparently came out to fix the door with the previous owner and somehow in regular installation and their "fix" they never actually flashed under neath the French doors to the deck. I get that a warranty may not pass to next owner (me), but they legitimately never installed the door properly. Not only that, but in calling them they blatantly lied about the door manufacturer and said it was out of warranty because the company went out of business. After speaking to the supposed door manufacturer that went out of business, that company explained they get angry calls from Power Home Remodeling customers all the time, and that they didn't even build the door I have because it doesn't have their company markings..it had a different company markings. Power Home is blatantly lying to avoid warranties. Then they tried to tell me that maybe I was confused and it was a different door in my house than the one they installed even though their big blue obnoxious key with their name on it opens the door. They also couldn't ensure that I could speak with a supervisor. When I finally did hear back, the supervisor was argumentative and dissmissive and fell into the same lies. Apparently it was the previous home owner who passed away that was responsible in their minds to keep reporting active leaks opposed to them fixing it correctly... Just call a manufacturer that they use as a supplier and you'll get a real answer on how shady they are. All, the while they are trying to sell me a $46,000 roof when 6 other quotes have been between $11,000-24,000....And yes that includes a "Smart Vent" with other companies. You don't even want to see the astronomical number for siding.... Don't let them into your home to scare tactic you, Don't purchase from them, and Don't trust these fraudsters.

If I could give this company 0 stars I…

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. As a new home owner I do take some responsibility for not doing more research and looking for more affordable less predatory companies, but power home were the unfortunate people who came to my door. Now unfortunately my windows were extremely outdated ( I bought an old house) and they desperately needed to be replaced. The contractor they sent me, an Easter European gentleman. Was one of the rudest contractors I had ever had the displeasure of working with. (I am an electrician by trade) and he constantly made rude remarks about us judging (checking in) on his work. Not to mention the project manager which I only spoke with day of and literally never again. He shows up hours late and when he as called out for it tried to guilt us the customers into feeling bad because he had to call in grandmother or something. AND THEN when I complained about the entirety of the project tried to condense my complaints down into him being late… like what? That was just a small piece in the giant disaster that is power home unimproved. When I then tried to call power home back office to complain not only about the professionalism of their employees that came to work on my house but also the fact that THEIR CONTRACTOR looked at me and my partner and told us as he was cleaning up that we overpaid for everything… not something you want to hear as a home owner once everything was finished up.. so when I called their office and told them this what was their response? “Oh that sucks”, or “sorry that happened to you we will make sure it doesn’t happen again”. Nothing to address the real issue wich was that their own employee admitted to us a young couple 25 and younger ago just got whti first house that they gratefully overpaid for a home service. It was devastating it’s not like we are rich or really have the money WE NEEDED to fix our windows or they we’d going to fall apart and the company basically looked at us and told us they ripped us off and there response was “oh that sucks” in all I would NEVER WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. As they don’t care about the consumer at all only getting the best profits they can get which is just against what their company “says” they stand for. I can keep going about how every time they order something from the warehouse the end up calling me the day of the appointment saying the warehouse doesn’t have their items.. this has happened from day of installation all the Until now, 2 YEARS later. The continue to not pick after themselves when they work in my home. And continue to be unprofessional in their phone calls, which we never receive, and showing up to my house unannounced weeks if not months after the original set appointment. In all I wish I could go back in time and not work with these people because my windows payment is OUTRAGEOUSLY HIGH and I have learned since that I can get better quality work for much less cost. That’s power home for being the mistake i won’t ever make again.

Where do I start...Read last paragraph for short version

Where do I start...Initially the folks spoke well, had a rookie first which then they had a more seasoned guy explain and work out pricing and details. After setting up a project for windows at a pretty solid price, around average on cost, we looked to mover forward.

Following that they have someone come out to go over and confirm the project details. Then schedule the install. This went fine...or so it seemed. They accidentally forgot to check tempered glass for the bathroom window. Was a painless fix, and slight adjustment to the project - small price increase for the one window.

Fast forward to the install, and the windows...were tiny. Visually able to tell before even putting it into place, and without side by side comparison...Have a few calls for them to reorder replacements. The guys on that first install were fantastic, wanted to have them for the second round...

Scheduled for a 12-2 start for the reinstall...to which they arrived at 10...I was able to work with it as I planned to be home, instead of going in early and getting out early from work - good thing I did this. The lead and I spoke about the windows to install, but they had one less window than planned...turns out that when we rescheduled/reordered the folks in the office took off one of the windows. Explained the price drop when we rescheduled.

After we fixed that issue, and they had someone drive out the extra window, they sent out a fixed price agreement...removed the old ones...and it was MORE expensive. Called and got that fixed...absolutely wild. They should of given a small rebate for the wild amounts of confusion or something, but I am not concerned with going with what was planned.

The lead of the second team also was never anywhere to be sighted. He sat in his truck pretty much the entire time, while his apprentices did the work. Unlike the first team where the team lead was working alongside the 'young guns'. I also noticed that he took the lazy routes to most things and liked to be combative with his tone of voice (not what he said, but how he said it).

The two who were doing the install did a fine enough job. I will not be complaining about that, quality wise the install went without any real hitch. But took much longer than I anticipated. In perspective, the first team did the first window in 30 min, second in around an hour...mostly since they were still in the phases of getting that routine ingrained for doing quick and clean work.

Overall, disappointed in the absolute lack of coordination this company has. They have some great employees, and others that just dont seem to care or understand that they are working for people. Quality of the product is there, but its a mixed bag outside of that.

I wish I could give this company the…

I wish I could give this company the same glowing review I would have written after they installed my windows years ago. The window installation went smoothly, and when I needed warranty service, they honored their lifetime warranty without any hassle. That outstanding experience is exactly why I chose them again for my siding, even though their price was significantly higher than other companies. I believed the extra cost was worth it because I trusted they would stand behind their products.

Unfortunately, that trust has been broken.

I recently discovered a small crack in one piece of siding and was surprised to learn that I would have to pay for the repair, despite the expectations created by my previous experience with their warranties.

My experience with the front door they installed last year has been even more disappointing. Just two months after installation, the door stopped latching properly and blows open whenever the wind catches it. On one occasion, the door opened unexpectedly and my dogs got out, creating a dangerous situation.

I contacted the company in approximately January to have the problem corrected. They scheduled a service appointment for July—already a six-month wait. About a week before that appointment, they canceled because of an emergency involving the technician. While I understand that emergencies happen, I was then told the next available appointment wasn’t until October. That means I’ll have lived with a defective front door for about nine months, and I was told there was nothing they could do to accommodate me sooner.

It’s incredibly frustrating to pay premium prices because you believe you’re receiving premium products and customer service, only to find that when you need help, you’re left waiting for months and expected to pay for issues you thought would be covered.

I genuinely wanted to continue recommending this company based on my original window experience. Sadly, my experiences with the siding and door have completely changed my opinion. Excellent customer service shouldn’t end after the sale.

The work on my house was excellent after service was bad

The work on my house was excellent, and I was very happy with the quality of the project itself. Unfortunately, everything changed after the project was completed and I signed the final paperwork.

They left the dumpster in my driveway for an entire week after the siding was removed. Even worse, after more than four weeks and at least eight phone calls, they still have not picked up the extra materials that were left on my front lawn.

To make matters worse, the dumpster company cracked my driveway, and every time I call Power, no one can give me a timeline or tell me what is being done to resolve the issue.

It’s very frustrating because they are a great company while they’re selling and completing the project. However, once the job is finished, the customer service completely falls apart. A project that started out perfectly has turned into a nightmare simply because they failed to make sure everything was completed properly after the work was done.
