Very clear, convenient and transparent process of selling my car. I was “only” checking current valuation of my car as I considered selling it, but the process has been so smooth and the valuation was fair so I ended up selling it within 2 weeks.

Arogant seller
Arogant seller, disrespectful, made me waste time just to say that they're not interested in the sale of the car, after test driving and pictures although he wasn't interested. Other than the fact that the appraisal of the car was miserably low ball.
I thought that this was an exceptional case but this happened the second time in two years and a total of two visits.
Later edit: the vin number was missing from the windshield and as confirned by a bmw dealer this is a factory option so that the vin cannot be easily copied/phantomed.
At the end it doesn't do you as a business, justice choosing to collaborate with uninformed and unprofessional dealers like vestergaard. In my mind it's a 13 years old car that in my opinion no respectful thief would bother copying. But it is just my humble opinion.

I have spoken with the dealer you visited, and he informed me that you have a nice car in good condition and that you had a calm and constructive dialogue regarding it.
It is correct that he declined to purchase the car, and as he also explained to you, this was due to a missing VIN number in the vehicle. As a result, he is unsure whether the other VIN number actually corresponds to the car you brought in.
This is of course unfortunate, but in such a situation a dealer may decline to buy the vehicle.
I would recommend contacting a BMW dealer, as they should be able to help you investigate the matter further. Once this has been clarified, we will of course be happy to assist you in offering the car to another dealer.

Reliable and seamless sale of my car. After posting an ad to bilbasen, I automatically received an evaluation of my car by Solgt.com. The evaluation was about 15%-20% lower than what I could sell my car in the free market. But it was reliable, as it became obvious I was dealing with professionals and will receive my money. And it was smooth. I just got the car to one of the dealerships that Solgt suggested, they checked my car and confirmed their willingness to buy it. After that, everything was taken care by them. Saved the hassle waiting for potential buyers to come to my house, check the car, negotiate the price, and then not buying the car (or having to make sure that you will get the money for the sale right at the time you transfer the ownership of your car).

I sold my car recently here and to say the least, the experience was great. The best thing about this how transparent the procedure is.
