Very Disappointing Experience as a Tourist

I am a tourist visiting Belgium, and I had a very disappointing experience at the McDonald’s near Grand Place in Brussels. My group and I had already purchased food and eaten at this restaurant. Later, when we needed to use the washroom, we were told that we had to pay an additional €0.40 per person to access it.

What made this experience even more frustrating was that we witnessed other customers who were speaking French being allowed to use the washroom without any charge after talking to the staff. Meanwhile, we were asked to pay. This felt unfair and discriminatory.

As paying customers, we expected basic facilities such as washroom access to be included. Charging customers after they have already purchased food, while seemingly applying different rules to different people, creates a very negative impression.

As a tourist, this experience made me feel unwelcome and poorly treated. Whether intentional or not, the inconsistent treatment of customers based on language or nationality is unacceptable. This is not the kind of hospitality visitors expect when traveling to Brussels.

I would not recommend this location to tourists. Management should ensure that policies are applied equally to everyone and that paying customers are treated with respect.

I asked for a big mac without onion, cheese, pickles and lettuce. They gave me a big mac with lettuce. I am very furious.

I went there last week and the burger was really disappointing. the patty was dry and it tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. Not the quality I used to enjoy from McDonald’s.

Good for McDonalds.
I went to location down at Chau. d'Ixelle.

Ok food, ok service, nothing too much extra to expect from them

Company mcdonalds should be closed completely.

Very bad experience with Mcdonald's at Bascule.We bought 2 coffees and they forced us to pay for the toilette(40 cents) on top of that.First time in my life I had to pay for toilette service even though I was a customer.A big shame for the company and I felt pity for the employee who had to "beg" for 40 cents.Such a big corporation of international size ; Do you really need to apply this toilet fees?Very bad management decision..If you wish to retain your existing customers remove this policy it only creates bad reputation.Go ahead and hire a cleaning company and reduce your operational costs via other ways that do not affect your reputation.
