Horrible experience - China shop
My experience with this company has been absolutely terrible.
The company gives the impression that it is European, but my order was actually shipped from China. The quality of the dresses was extremely disappointing and nothing like what was shown in the pictures on the website. The materials, quality and overall appearance were completely different from what I expected.
When I tried to return the dresses and get my money back, I had a very difficult experience. Instead of simply accepting the return, they repeatedly tried to convince me to keep the dresses and offered me only a 10% refund. I continued emailing them, and later they offered a 30% refund instead. After several emails and a lot of back and forth, they finally agreed to let me return the dresses.
I followed their instructions and sent the dresses back to the address they provided in China. I paid around £40 for the return postage and provided them with the proof of payment and tracking information.
I sent the dresses back in April. It is now September, and instead of receiving my refund, the dresses have been returned to me because they could not be delivered to the address in China that the company itself provided.
So I have paid for the dresses, paid around £40 to return them as instructed, spent months emailing the company, and I still have my dresses back and no refund.
This has been an incredibly frustrating and unacceptable experience. I strongly advise people not to buy from this company. The quality is not as advertised, the return process is extremely difficult, and getting your money back appears to be a huge problem.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Please do not use this company!
Please do not use this company! Their website looks great as do the photos of their clothes. However, when they arrive they are nothing like the photos! They are very poor quality. On speaking to their customer service team they promised to reimburse me....but I never recieved it! I am fed up of mailing them! They are a disgraceful company!
Awful experience
Awful experience. Item received, poor quality. Sent back at my expense and nothing from the company since. Followed all company procedures. Do not buy anything
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought two “leather jackets” in different sizes to get best fit. Arrived from Manchester, both were polyester with washing instructions. Tried to return, started off with keep the jackets & get 5% refund… this continued until eventually after 5 weeks I got a return address to CHINA… queried this but had to return there if wanting a full refund.
Sent parcel which cost £40 to China, 7 weeks later they had still not collected it from customs even though it had been cleared. This was returned to me so over £300 out of pocket & no answers to emails etc.
Bank can’t help because it’s out of the transaction time frame due to the customs wait… which the bank say these companies do so they get to keep the money.
SCAM COMPANY.
This is a dreadful company operating…
This is a dreadful company operating from China, ordered clothing, tried to return to Chinna cost me £27 to package at end of April. Approached Royal Mail as paid extra for tracking and been returned to me from China! They have never refunded and just send repeated computerised messages. You get nowhere with then. Some back street operation.
Warm lights made it cozy
sunday evening we dimmed the living room lights and the warm white bulbs on this 6-foot tree looked really nice, not harsh or blue. the hinged branches dropped into place fast, though i spent maybe 20 minutes fluffing the pine tips so there werent little gaps. the metal stand feels steady on our wood floor, and the included red and gold balls plus the star meant we could decorate it that same night. the remote took me a minute, but now its simple
Warmer hands on my commute
My old fleece gloves were fine for walking the dog, but on my morning bike ride they turned useless after ten minutes. These heated gloves from Maison de Laurent made a real difference, especially on the medium heat setting. The black finish looks simple, not bulky, and the inside feels soft without making my fingers stiff. I also used my phone at a red light with the touchscreen fingertips, which actually worked. The button took me a ride or two to find by feel, but that's minor. Very happy with them.
The checks are quieter outside
The plaid tweed coat looked quite bold under the bedroom light, but the checks appeared much softer when I wore it outside. I used it for a museum afternoon with black trousers and a plain knit, and the retro lapel gave the outfit enough shape without needing a scraf. A loose fibre near one cuff needed trimmig before I left the coat sat comfortably while I carried a shoulder bag and did not bunch arround the collar. It is easier to wear than the pattern first suggested.
Soft leather and fits my waist well
Bought the Giorgina jacket last weekend for an upcoming trip. I was a bit worried about buying outerwear online, but Chloe from support gave me the exact shoulder measurements to help me pick a size. It genuinely tapers at the waist without feeling tight when I move my arms. The leather itself is surprisingly soft right out of the box, not stiff at all. The front zipper was slightly sticky the first couple of times I wore it, but it smoothed out pretty quickly. I just throw it over my regular office shirts and it looks put together.
Stunning dress, runs slightly small
I bought the Brisha long sleeve mini dress for a night out in the city. The tailoring is excellent and it really does hug your figure beautifully, creating a very flattering silhouette. The fabric feels modern and chic, not cheap at all. My only issue is that it runs a little small around the shoulders, making it slightly restrictive when I raise my arms. If you are between sizes, I would definitely suggest sizing up. Overall though, it’s a gorgeous piece for evening wear.
The company ships from China - avoid - fake photos, poor quality product
The company ships from China, and fronts as French company! They showed pictures of suede shoes for £70 and they shipped fake suede. I requested a full refund and they offered me 20% , then 30%. I said I wanted a full refund, and paid for postage back to China - and they have not refunded anything, and have stopped communicating with me.
Maison De Laurent-AVOID THIS COMPANY
Maison De Laurent-AVOID THIS COMPANY – Items Not As Advertised & No Refund
Rating: ⭐ (0/5)
"Do not order from Maison Laurent. I am deeply frustrated with my experience and want to warn others to stay completely clear of this company.
The items I purchased looked nothing like what was advertised on their website. The quality and appearance are entirely different from the online images. When I reached out to resolve the issue and get my money back, the customer service process became a nightmare. I have still not received my refund.
Save yourself the anger, time, and money. Avoid this online shop entirely so you do not have to go through the same stressful experience I did."
Maison De Laurent are utter sh1te.
Maison De Laurent are utter sh1te.
Wrong item eventually sent in April.
Once ordered you will communicate with the bot only.
Full of lies, impossible to believe anything.
Don’t accept coupons or money back, neither will materialise.
Don’t return anything.
Do keep all communications.
All they want is you to be gullible and your money.
Eventually got a full refund from PayPal 05. July 2026
Avoid this company
The size I ordered was too small so I wanted to return it and get a larger one. Over 30 emails later and every scenario you can imagine, not working, I still have a coat too small to wear. They offered codes that didnt work, my money back, which didnt appear, but when that didnt work, they asked me for my bank details which, having been faced with so many lies from them, I refused to pass on. They could have sent me the correct size coat and I would have gone away. Absolutely robbers. I ordered in March and its now the end of June and I still havent got a result

Do not be sucked in. There is a reason they are cheap. The items are shipped from China with no or very little tracking and the shipping takes much longer than specified if it rocks up at all. The images on the website are AI generated or assimilated from other sites. My item was cheaply made and not in the material pictured and they didn’t issue a refund but they want to negotiate a partial refund so you don’t return the item. It was a battle and had to claim through my credit card company in the end. It was very disappointing. Please help to discourage this misrepresentation.
No proper return and refund policy
Only order from this company if you are absolutely sure you will want to keep the item. Despite all the right assurances about their return and refund policy posted on their website, when I tried to return the jersey that I did not like I was told I could keep it in return for a 10% refund or 50% credit against future purchases. After repeated email exchanges, I had to settle for a 30% refund. I took the jersey to a charity shop. It became apparent that despite the company being registered in the Netherlands, the distribution warehouse is in China, at a hidden address.
Please Avoid!
I purchased a dress from this company and when it arrived it did not match what I was expecting and it was very poor quality.
It took numerous emails to the company before they would agree to let me return the item for a refund. They tried offering for me to choose something else and then various percentages of a refund. As their website clearly stated they offer refunds I persisted.
I was instructed to post it to an address in China, which proved costly. They confirmed receipt of the dress but then would not refund me. Again I sent numerous emails but the replies advised me it was being processed and to give them more time.
Unfortunately, I had not read reviews of the company before purchasing. Please, if you are reading this DO NOT purchase anything from this company. If it was possible to give '0' stars I would. The website looks genuine and their emails are very polite and well written but please don't be taken in.
Thanks to a review on Trustpilot, I was made aware of the potential for a charge back against the company. As I had paid with a Visa debit card, luckily my bank have reclaimed the cost (my refund) back from the company. I believe this may also be possible if you have paid by credit card or PayPal.
In summary, avoid this company and look for a more reputable business to purchase from.
Awful - I should have checked Trustpilot before ordering
I totally agree with the other reviews. Do not go near this company. I ordered goods that when eventually delivered were not at all as described.
The company offered me a partial refund and I would not have to return the goods - obviously their modus operandi. I refused and said I would send the goods back using tracked delivery (£33.65).
The return address is hard to parody. I promise that I have not made it up!
Return Address:
Company Name: Liu Changxing
Street Address: No. 2 freight elevator on the west side of the 3rd floor, upstairs, Yuantong Express, No. 409, Suxi Yiwu Town
The goods have been stuck in customs in China since 27th April, over a month, (apparently because the company is not responding to requests to clear it?)
I have contacted trading standards in the UK and am exploring ways of doing something similar in China (SAMR and CCA).
Dreadful.
Avoid the company at all costs
Avoid the company at all costs
Goods from China return address China cost a fortune, and your parcel sits in customs for 1 month or more. I returned the item, provided shipping proof, cost £47, still no money back
Use Temu if you are happy with Chinese products
