Orion Sleep Reviews 

A few weeks ago, I put an order in for an Orion thinking that it would be the perfect gift for my wife's birthday. I hadn't realized that they were having longer shipping lead times right now, until I saw a post on this subreddit and then got an email about it.

I had made a comment on a post here saying "Whelp, hope it makes it here before my wife's birthday." Harry reached out to me directly to let me know they were going to do everything they could to get our system here on time for her birthday, and they really went above and beyond.

Harry, Scott, and Maddie expedited things as much as they possibly could, and kept me updated every step of the way. They made it their Unfortunately, my order went out with standard shipping instead of expedited so my order wasn't scheduled to arrive until next week.

I saw the tracking status, and thought "Well, it was great of them to try." But no, the team wasn't satisfied with that. They overnighted a whole other system to me and are providing return labels for when the other one comes in. The system came in just in time for my wife's birthday, and she is ecstatic about it. She has a hard time sleeping due to not being able to regulate her own body temperature that well.

It would have been so easy for the Orion team to say "Sorry, these are our lead times right now, good luck." or "Hey, sorry, we tried." when it didn't go as planned. The fact that they went above and beyond like this has set such a great first impression with me and I cannot speak highly enough of them. Having this experience before I even received the product let's me know that they stand by their product 100%. Can't wait to actually use the system now!

I want to share this honestly because I wish someone had warned me before I bought. This is a premium-priced product, and I expected premium reliability and support to match. What I got instead: a unit that stopped working completely within about three weeks of ownership, and a company that gave me the runaround "need to check with engineering" then 9 days of no follow-up while an expensive product sat unusable.

For context, I've also owned a Sleep.me product, and when I needed support, their exchange process was fast and genuinely outstanding. It's not a close comparison. Eight Sleep has a similar reputation for standing behind their product. Orion does not - at least not based on my experience.

If you're considering this purchase, think hard about what happens when, not if, something goes wrong. You're not just paying for the hardware, you're paying for a company to be there when it fails. Mine wasn't. I can't in good conscience recommend this product until that changes.

We absolutely love this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their sleep quality and/or overall health.

Incredible customer experience! Every interaction I've had with the folks at Orion is great. Also, they constantly are dropping new software updates and news around the products, and it's so fun to get to be a part of all this. This is probably one of the most expensive things I've bought, and I'm realllllly happy with it so far.

We bought the sleep system and we are loving the comfort and temperature regulation at night. It’s easy to change the temp at night if we need to adjust it. Still working on getting the insights to come through correctly. There are some glitches but the customer service is always there to help. Really happy with our purchase!

My husband and I have been using the Orion for over 6 months now. We use the split temperature feature, since I usually run hot and he runs cool. This product has been a game changer and we’re hooked. We look forward to a restful, cozy night of sleep.
Setup was easy. App is very user friendly. I have no complaints only praise for this product.

This is my first time using a sleep temperature system and now I don't ever want to sleep without it. I know there are some interesting sleep hacking stuff you can try but I've kept it simple for my wife and I, finding our idea sleep temperatures so we don't wake up hot or cold in the middle of the night.

My favorite feature is the wake up temperature, it's nice waking up naturally without a jarring alarm.

Lately I've been experimenting with relaxing our nighttime air conditioner temp by decreasing the bed temp, and it's working!

This is the kind of purchase that pays off in more than one way.

We bought in December 2025 as soon as we learned about Orion, and have been sleeping better ever since! We had been looking for a solution, but8 Sleep seemed very expensive and intimidating. Orion was priced affordably and offered all of the attributes. The ability to independently regulate each side of the king mattress is amazing, and lets each partner enjoy their preferred temperature. The product is easy to use, the app allows you to control as desired, and get your best sleep. Highly recommend!!

We've been using Orion for 2 months now at the recommendation of a friend, and it's been a game changer for us. I sleep hot and my wife is typically pretty cold so we have found the temp sweet spot with each of our respective sides which honestly was easier than I thought, maybe took 1-2 nights to get it dialed. Without question we are achieving better, deeper rest, just less fussing and thrashing. I'm a convert for sure. Also it looks pretty cool, for what it's worth.

This has been the single greatest purchase ever since my husband and I got married. He likes the room freezing cold and I like to have blankets stacked on me whether or not it’s the peak of summer in the south. With this Orion system, he no longer needs a noisy fan because he keeps the temperature of his side of the best at the coldest setting possible. I keep my side on the warmer side. This has been such a game changer especially with the summer heat quickly approaching! Setup was super simple. I actually did it all by myself and it fit perfectly on our bed.

I love my Orion, I’m sleeping so much better now and I reallyyyyy look forward to getting into bed knowing I can make it as hot or cold as I want

Orion has changed my sleep and inturn made me more productive in life. I used to wake up sweating, tossing and turning, but with the sleep system it changed everything.

I like the app. Easy to use and set up if you follow the instructions.

My wife and I are able to have different temperatures on our respective sides of the bed. Which is nice because I always overheat.

My husband and I don't have to compromise on temperature anymore at night, and this has made the biggest difference in us both getting restful sleep! They do a whole sleep study analysis before starting, to go over your nightly rhythm and see how hot or cold you should be throughout the night. (it can change through different phases of sleep) I cannot recommend them enough!! The app is also very user friendly and I can make adjustments in a couple taps on my phone.

Shockingly excellent purchase. Customer support, problem solving, product function, product benefits - have all been incredibly positive. Has changed my life for the better in several ways from sleep quality, to recovery, to overall comfort in bed. I use wearables, but girlfriend uses the analytics to track trends and tweak her bed settings. Orion team has also made too many product improvements in the app to count since getting my unit less than 6 months ago.

One of the few purchases >$1000 that ive had 0 buyers remorse about.

I absolutely love my Orion. I sleep hot, yet somehow am also easily cold, and maintaining a consistent level of comfort was ruining my sleep. I’d looked at competitors, but Orion stuck out to me based on their product design and their customer service. The entire team was actively responding to customers and potential customers on Reddit, and their CEO got on the phone with me for half an hour to help me decide if this was the right purchase. I’ve now had my Orion for three months and I can confidently say it has been life changing. I’m no longer waking up five times a night to toss and turn. The team has made many thoughtful features, like an actually quiet mode, the ability to easily adjust temps for myself vs my partner, and a tower design that elevates my room design instead of taking up space in it. My energy bill impact has been negligible (barely $2 more a month in a high cost county), and I’ve only had to refill the water tank once in 3 months. I’m continually impressed by how responsive the team still is across all customer platforms and social media sites, and have recommended the Orion to so many people in my life. Shipping was fast, setup was easy, and it was covered by my FSA. I am a very, very happy customer!

Great product, works well, installation was easy and setup was too. Cools very well, gets *really* cold if you want it to, adjustments through the night generally good too. Customer service has been great when I had an issue with the water tower, replaced it quickly.

Shipping is quick.

Setup is very simple and easy - plug it in, pour in the water. Set my preferences for temperature. Invite my wife. Done.

Just wanted to share my personal experience with Orion. A couple of months ago, I bought an Orion Sleep system. I used it for a few weeks and worked with the customer service team, which was always very helpful and responsive, but unfortunately I just didn’t see the results that I wanted to see to justify a $2500 purchase. The Orion customer support team, specifically Rochelle, was very understanding when I requested a return, and sent me a free return label as well as free packaging to ship the sleep system back in. I dropped off the package at a UPS store and sent them the shipping label. Unfortunately, after I left, they applied the shipping label to the wrong package and sent Orion a box of toys as my return, and sent my Orion sleep system to whoever was supposed to receive the toys. I spent a couple of weeks emailing, calling, and trying to work with UPS to get this issue resolved, but unfortunately I just wasn’t getting anywhere. Finally, I sent Rochelle an email and asked her if she could look into it. She said she would, and within a couple of days she had found the package and had orchestrated for things to be made right. A little under a week later, Rochelle confirmed they had received my sleep system and had processed the refund. All that to say, I can confirm from personal experience that Orion’s customer support team is incredible!
