My experience from start to finish was extremely disappointing.
I paid a £300 deposit three weeks in advance to secure the booking. Then, less than 48 hours before the appointment, I was asked if the booking could be moved. I explained this wasn’t possible due to other arrangements, and I found the communication abrupt and unprofessional.
I was told the team would arrive at 11:00 am, but they turned up at 7:30 am without any prior phone call or message.
The quote stated they would use an industrial vacuum and steam mop all floors. Instead, they arrived with a Henry vacuum and a standard mop and bucket. When questioned, I was told the steam mop had broken on the previous job, which I found difficult to understand given they had arrived at my property at 7:30 am.
By around 1:30 pm, the team said they had finished despite many of the quoted tasks still not being completed. The office initially encouraged us to point out anything that had been missed so it could be rectified. However, after we asked for the agreed work to be completed, we were later told we had been “rude” and the team was instructed to leave.
After they left, the carpets still hadn’t been vacuumed, the oven hadn’t been cleaned, and many surfaces looked as though they had simply been wiped over, smearing dirt rather than removing it. I ended up having to clean the property myself, completely defeating the purpose of hiring a professional cleaning company.
When I requested my money back, I was told the team were “stuck in traffic on the M4”—despite them having already attended my property and left. This response gave me very little confidence that my complaint was being taken seriously.
During the visit, members of the team also made comments about their employment status and being paid in cash. I found those comments concerning and unprofessional.
Overall, this was an extremely poor experience, and based on my experience I would not recommend this company.

You're entitled to your opinion, but it's important to be accurate. Reviews on Trustpilot cannot simply be "faked" by businesses. Trustpilot has its own verification and moderation processes, and we have no ability to alter or remove genuine customer reviews.
We complete 50+ bookings every month and maintain a 95% positive review rate across multiple platforms. By your logic, because a small number of customers have disagreed with our terms and conditions, that would make us a scam company. We don't believe that's a fair or reasonable conclusion.
In your case, you agreed to our terms and conditions when booking. Unfortunately, those terms were later breached, which is why the outcome was not in your favour. You're now disagreeing with terms that were accepted at the time of booking, which is confusing.
We appreciate that you're disappointed with the outcome, but our position remains unchanged. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

A scam company
Omnia clean rescheduled the first appointment with 25mins notice. They rescheduled again at 4pm on a Friday when due Monday morning because of a training day??? Then just didn't turn up. When I asked what was happening I received an accusatory response saying they were cancelling the job but deposits non refundable. I should have known the deposit was high but had just had a really positive experience so feeling confident. They are obviously entirely fraudulent and now the negative reviews appear and they have disappeared off checkatrade

Before making your booking and paying the deposit, you agreed to our Terms and Conditions. These clearly state that:
"Deposits are non-refundable where the customer cancels the booking, fails to provide access, provides inaccurate information, breaches these terms, or otherwise prevents the service from being carried out as agreed."
Although you chose to cancel the service, we offered you the option to reschedule your booking. Unfortunately, you decided not to proceed.
In addition, our Terms and Conditions also state:
"We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening, intimidating, discriminatory, or aggressive behaviour towards our staff, contractors, or representatives."
During our interactions, there were two occasions where members of our team were subjected to language and behaviour that we considered unacceptable. One member of staff was left extremely distressed. After reviewing the recorded communications, we concluded that this policy had also been breached.
We strongly reject the allegation that we are fraudulent or that we "scammed" you. We are a legitimate business with policies in place to protect both our customers and our staff. These policies are provided before booking so customers can make an informed decision before proceeding.
We understand that you are upset with the outcome. However, just as we are committed to treating our customers with professionalism and respect, we expect the same courtesy to be shown to our team.

I would not recommend this company! I booked a full house clean and paid a substantial deposit. They did not turn up and proceeded to give conflicting excuses throughout the day! I had specified I needed the clean done by a specified date for a house sale. I was informed that if I wanted them to come the following day it would cost a further £330 taking the cost to over £1,000! When I refused I was pressured into ‘cancelling’ and therefore losing my deposit! I currently have not had my deposit refunded!

Throughout our communications, you repeatedly described our team as being "really professional and polite," and we have records of these conversations. It is therefore surprising to see allegations that we have acted dishonestly.
At no stage did we "scam" you. We remained in contact regarding your booking and discussed the available options with you. When you chose not to proceed, the matter was handled in accordance with the Terms and Conditions that were agreed to at the time of booking.
We also have policies in place regarding respectful communication with our staff. During our interactions, there were instances where our team felt they were being spoken to in an unacceptable manner. As a business, we are committed to treating all customers with courtesy and professionalism, and we expect the same respect to be shown to our staff.
We appreciate that you are unhappy with the outcome. However, the decisions made regarding your booking and deposit were based on the agreed contractual terms, not an attempt to withhold funds unfairly.

EDIT- I have seen the booking confirmation and all the communication between both parties and can confirm you have scammed my mum, she has taken this further and has been in extreme financial and mental distress.

The booking was governed by our Terms and Conditions, which were accepted before the deposit was paid. Any decisions regarding the booking and deposit were made in accordance with those agreed terms and not arbitrarily.
We strongly reject the allegation that we "scammed" anyone. We are a legitimate business that operates under clear contractual terms which are provided to customers before they proceed with a booking.

SCAM!! I do not recommend using this company. I requested a roof clean, quote said FULL roof clean.
They cleaned HALF of our roof, and left a huge mess for us to clean up.
I messaged to ask why and the excuse was apparently a misunderstanding.. more like misleading so you book with them. I was then pushed in three separate messages to pay £250 extra to complete the job. I'll be taking further action.

Before providing a quotation, we requested photographs of the areas of the roof that you wanted cleaned. The only photographs provided to us showed the front section of the roof. Based on the information and images supplied, we quoted for and completed the work shown in those photographs.
Many customers send photographs of both the front and rear of their roof when they require a full roof clean. Equally, some customers only require one section of the roof to be cleaned and therefore only provide photographs of that specific area. For this reason, we can only quote and carry out work based on the information that is provided to us.
At the time the work was completed, you expressed satisfaction with the service and paid the remaining balance without dispute. It was only after completion that you raised concerns regarding additional areas of the roof that had not been included in the original photographs or quotation.
When you asked about cleaning the other side of the roof, we explained that this would constitute additional work beyond the agreed scope of the original service and would therefore require a separate charge. We believe this is a reasonable and standard approach for any service provider.
We also reject any suggestion that Omnia Clean UK is a scam. The fact that you willingly paid both the deposit and the remaining balance after the work was completed demonstrates that the service was carried out in accordance with the agreement that was in place at the time.
We take pride in being transparent with our customers and carrying out work based on the instructions and information provided to us. We remain committed to delivering professional services and treating all customers fairly and respectfully.

Completely unprofessional, rude and disrespectful response from Omnia Clean UK Ltd
I contacted this company through Checkatrade requesting quotes for gutter cleaning and window cleaning. Like many customers, I contacted a few companies to compare prices and availability before deciding who to proceed with.
The company immediately requested my home address before even properly discussing the work. I was hesitant to provide this information initially, but after doing so, I received one of the most rude and unprofessional responses I have ever experienced from a business.
After I politely explained that I had requested a reduction in the quote and would get back to them, I was told to “go elsewhere”, accused of “window shopping”, and spoken to in a dismissive and degrading manner.
No customer should be treated like that for simply comparing quotes or taking time to make a decision.
What made this even more upsetting is that I have had extensive renovation work completed at my property already, including a fully fitted kitchen, flooring, and electrical works, with further projects planned including bathroom and garage restoration. My decisions are measured and based around ongoing works and budgeting; as any responsible homeowner would do.
Unfortunately, experiences like this make me feel that some tradespeople simply do not take certain customers seriously.
Whether intentional or not, the tone and attitude came across as deeply disrespectful and intimidating.
I work hard, like most people, and there was absolutely no justification for such an **aggressive response.**
In hindsight, I am relieved I did not proceed with this company, because professionalism, trust, and respect matter when inviting people to work at your home.
I would strongly advise others to be cautious about sharing personal information and addresses too quickly with companies online until trust and professionalism have been established.
**I absolutely would NOT recommend this company based on my experience.**

Throughout our communications, there appeared to be significant uncertainty as to whether you actually wished to proceed with a booking. There were numerous discussions regarding pricing, availability, and the quotation, but no clear indication that you intended to move forward with our services.
As a business, we are happy to answer reasonable questions and assist genuine enquiries. However, there comes a point where we must focus our time and resources on customers who are actively looking to book services.
We reject the suggestion that our team acted aggressively or intended to intimidate you. We strive to communicate professionally with all customers and have records of our communications.

Our records show that you requested the booking be cancelled. We acted on your instructions and cancelled the booking accordingly. Prior to this, our cancellation policy and deposit terms had been explained to you on multiple occasions, and you had agreed to those terms before making payment.
Our Terms and Conditions clearly state the circumstances under which a deposit may be forfeited, including where a customer chooses to cancel a booking. The deposit was therefore handled in accordance with the agreement that was accepted at the time of booking.
We reject the allegation that we "forced" you to cancel. The decision to cancel was your own, and we simply followed your instructions. At no stage were you compelled to make a payment; you voluntarily paid the deposit after receiving and accepting our Terms and Conditions.
We also note that you raised the matter with Checkatrade. Based on the information available, the outcome did not support your allegation that our company had acted improperly. Our position has remained consistent throughout: we followed the agreed terms of the booking.

Very disappointed and disgrace experience
I rarely write a review, unless its exceptionally good or bad.
Let me tell you why you shouldn't hire their service which made me speechless:
1. Unreliable booking
We booked and confirmed a cleaning service 4 weeks in advance with a deposit of £200. But the confirmation message they sent contained incorrect date and time details, which already showed a lack of organisation.
2. Last-minute cancellation with no accountability
We reconfirmed the appointment one day before. However, 15 minutes before the scheduled arrival, they cancelled the job, claiming they had quoted the service at a lower price. How is this considered professional?
We had just moved into a new home and needed a deep clean before staying overnight, this had caused significant disruption and stress.
3. Poor communication and customer service
The responses we received were dismissive. There was no genuine effort to resolve the situation or acknowledge the inconvenience caused.
4. Very concerning deposit refund process
We were told the deposit would be refunded on the day they cancelled. But, there were no proactive updates, we had to chase repeatedly over multiple weeks, and we were later told the transaction had “bounced back”, yet no one informed us until we followed up ourselves. Even after providing new bank account details, the refund was still delayed and only processed after further chasing.
The entire experience felt extremely unprofessional and, at times, concerning. Given the amount involved (£200), the lack of transparency and delays made it feel like a potential scam, which is unacceptable for any legitimate business.
Please do consider carefully before even requesting a quote from them.

Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen internal operational issue, we were unable to carry out the service as originally scheduled. As soon as this became apparent, we contacted you, explained the situation, apologised for the inconvenience, and confirmed that a full refund would be issued.
At no point was there any dispute regarding your entitlement to a refund. The refund was processed in line with our standard procedures, which can take up to 5 working days to reach a customer's account. As weekends are not classed as working days by the banking system, the timescale was slightly longer than you expected, but still within the stated processing period.
We appreciate that waiting for a refund can be frustrating. However, the suggestion that we acted dishonestly or attempted to retain your funds is simply incorrect. You received your refund in full exactly as promised.
We take pride in being transparent with our customers, and while we regret that we were unable to complete the work on this occasion, we believe we acted responsibly by informing you promptly and ensuring your refund was returned in full.
