I made an order on Thursday evening for an Osprey backpack because they had a great deal! Then I came to see the reviews and my heart dropped but 48h later my backpack was delivered without issues!

Met meer dan 20.000 m2 aan winkelplezier en meer dan 30.000 verschillende producten waan jij je als buitenliefhebber nu in één grote speeltuin. Ons team van meer dan 100 specialisten staat voor je klaar. Zijn ze niet op pad in de buitenlucht, dan delen ze de opgedane reiskennis en -ervaring graag met jou. Zodat jij je straks net zo thuis voelt in de buitenlucht. Iedere specialist heeft energie voor 10 en deelt zijn enthousiasme en passie graag met jou. Want zonder die energie komen ze niet buiten. This has been the worst customer…
This has been the worst customer experience I have ever had. I ordered a bike rack on 25.6.2026 through their website. According to their promise, orders placed before 16:00 should be shipped the same day. What a joke.
I am still waiting for an update on my order, even though I have sent multiple emails and requested an estimate for the shipment. The only positive thing has been the AI chat assistant, "Rody", which remains very optimistic, tries to find solutions, and repeatedly promises that a real person will look into the issue and get back to me as soon as possible. No answers yet.
The contrast between Kampeerhal Roden's website and social media presence and the reality of how they treat their customers is something I have never experienced before.
If you can order the item from somewhere else, I strongly recommend doing so.
Update 16.7.2026
After several attempts to reach Kampeerhal Roden, they finally responded to me two weeks after I placed my order and checked the status of the delivery.
They had not shipped the item and informed me that my order had been cancelled because the delivery costs were considered too high, even though I had already paid both for the item and the delivery to Finland in advance.
I am now waiting for my refund, but nothing has happened since our last contact on one week ago. I have not received any confirmation that the refund has been processed, nor have I received the refunded amount.
I submitted a dispute through Webwinkelkeur regarding Kampeerhal Roden.
