Quoted $300, upsold to $792 on the day. Two treatments, zero effect on the ants. Two months of unanswered messages and broken callback promises, including a written complaint the company replied to twice promising updates that never came. No refund issued. Reported to Qld Office of Fair Trading.

DO NOT use these people. Got a pest control for fleas but the fleas are still active and they didn't cover the areas they quoted for. The worker who arrived was a student who complained about the owners not paying him properly. It's been two weeks since they have come back. They promise to come and don't come back. Honestly, this company does not seem to be legitimate

Requested a couch clean job over the phone, didn’t receive a quote. The subcontractor ended up being late.

Once the job was finished they asked for a ridiculous price which is the “leather steam clean” price however the subcontractor did not use any equipment only a cloth and spray to wipe. I sent photos of the couch and obvious signs of the job being incomplete so the lots of the job being incomplete. after a few weeks before a reply, I was told “the subcontractor is on leave so we can’t do anything” I had to keep emailing for an update then after a month I was told it’s been too long now and I can’t get a refund. I said fine I’ll take the offer for a redo and they never responded.

Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with our experience using Freshly for couch cleaning.

I was quoted $160 over the phone, however the final cost ended up being $180. While $20 isn’t a huge difference, I had been comparing quotes between several businesses, so it would have been appreciated if the original quote had been more accurate.

My biggest concern was the lack of care and professionalism while the service was being completed. The person who attended had an extremely strong and unpleasant body odour, to the point that I had to light candles and spray the house after he left.

The work was also quite messy. He leaned against our white walls with dirty hands while cleaning the couch and left black handprints that I then had to clean off. Cleaning product was sprayed over the surrounding floors, so I had to mop the area afterwards. He moved our rocking chair to access the power point but didn’t return it to its original position, and removed our baby-proof electrical plugs to use the power point but didn’t replace them when he was finished. He also walked through the house in dirty shoes, leaving dirt throughout our hallway.

I completely understand that some mess can come with having a couch professionally cleaned, but I would expect someone working inside a customer’s home to take reasonable care and leave the area as they found it.

We were also told the couch would take approximately 2–3 hours to dry. The cleaning was completed at around 5:15pm yesterday, and as of 12pm today — almost 19 hours later — the couch is still wet.

To make the experience even more disappointing, the couch itself doesn’t actually look much cleaner than it did before the service. After paying $180 and dealing with the mess left behind, I would at least expect to see a noticeable improvement in the appearance of the couch.

Overall, the experience felt quite unprofessional and unfortunately I wouldn’t use this service again.
