Booked Great West Tour USA. When you book without flights you don't get renatl car as well which is unclear on website. De Jong Intra promisses Good middle class hotel. What you get is very poor hotels (mostly 2**) on poor locations. What was good 20 years ago might need an update!. You get unreadable route-description and have to organise entire trip yourselves. Reasult is dat you have to spend at least 6 hours per day in car. In the description they mention the time to be used for the shortest route.

De Jong Intra and their other company Vakantie Discounter play pass the responsibility game with you. You book under VD and all communication from VD states clearly De Jong Intra advice and instruction however when my holiday could not go through due to changed rules in Malta none of them offered any reasonable help!! None were available on phone or when I emailed it takes them min 5 days to respond. I asked if I could change destination but being the customer friendly companies they are not was told NO!!! I could only change dates when the dates were not the issue. I even stupidly offered to pay more to change destination but the answer was no! What company does that if not some shady one??? I have worked in the travel industry and dealt with agencies all over the world and never had the misfortune of such unprofessional service. PLEASE NEVER CONSIDER DEALING WITH EITHER OF THESE PEOPLE .. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN

Transfers via this touroperator are the worst. They inform you incorrectcly or don't arrange for a transfer at all, even though it was included in the costs you paid. Refrain from booking a transfer with these guys.

Top experience in the US - with the Great West Tour

First of all I unsubscribed from their emails and I still get newsletters. Besides that, last time I booked a holiday through them they added costs and they resell from Secret Escapes and D-reisen. Worst company ever.

I booked a trip to Rome through them and they canceled it without paying the deposit back. They don't respond on their emails, on the phone. They just don't care. They ruined my holiday plans. I never advise you to book a trip through this company. It is terrible. NEVER EVER use this company!!!
