Deutsche bank Alcudia Majorca

Deutsche bank Alcudia Majorca

Despite being a customer for over 20 years, my account was blocked until I authenticated myself. I have had to do this several times despite the staff knowing me personally.
Bank employees have a duty to know their customers. The Deutsch Bank seems to like to annoy and irritate their customer.
Also, it is impossible to call the Deutsche bank Alcudia. You are left with several options of languages and speeds of the automatic text which you can slow down and in the end no one
It should be possible to call your bank advisor and speak directly
I would not advise anyone to make a bank account with the Deutsche bank

Better leave when you have the chance

AI PROMPTING IS NOT A SKILL.
Companies IT culture has fallen to a very low standard in last couple of years. There is no proper interview
process anymore.
Atleast the option to work for different department cross country leadership is not provided. Limiting them to single region internal transition was also not a good option for career growth. Lack of flexibility to apply for internal higher level positions.

People with IT skills have become general category in IT field and reservation category people have flourished more.

We haven't had a chance to breathe or spend time with our families because IT leaders decided to hire narcissists who cry sharing their family problems and escape doing their job and later it gets dumped on us as if we deserve this sort of treatment.

People with good skills have worked 2 to 3 times harder because the special category people didnt know how to do the job and later lost their jobs. These are best behaved employees who did excellent job of fixing Audit findings.
Instead of training such employees with new skill sets who have been with Bank for more than 1-2 decades and keeping them for fulltime, leaderhsip replaces them with their friends.

These same leaders didnt take any action to fix any Audit findings. This reservation category has only been wrongly used to bring their friends or their certain group of people to make themselves look politically right.
These reservation category people take credit for others work and get promoted despite having various pensions or retirement & Insurance benefits but still greedy for more money. Some even have their own business.

There are less people with programming or technical skills and more of privileged category people. Each department has 4 to 5 managers, 2-3 directors/MD's why..? You need more employees who do work. I don't think there is a need for 2-3 managers. Only politicians with low skills and bullies have flourished well with promotions and appraisals.

Young girls are no less purposely dressing up inappropriately while Working from Home for fast track promotions. If they are ready to stoop low then why would Managers be in their best behavior.

These same people have flourished because they have constantly dissed about other employees to higher management with fake complaints. Unfortunately these are the only kind of people who get promoted 2 to 3 times within short period of time. When the Auditors come in they don't even show up to answer because they have no clue about technology.

Even HR's have become very discriminatory and corrupt. No point in reaching out to whistleblower.
Because they reveal everything to the leaders, like which employee has given what feedback and later employee faces retaliation every single day. So the only thing that can be done is not give any feedback during people survey because if we give positive feedback then it means the leadership is good and since the leadership gave us bad feedback it means we are terrible at doing our job.

We had little hope that atleast while getting Audited such leaders intensions and performance would be exposed but it seems like even Audit teams are impacted with these politics or bribes. So, instead of reporting their bad intensions they ended up supporting them. Such "Friendly Auditors" :)

So, DB doesn't need employees with skill set, they need reservation category people who are good politicians and bullies to prove themselves that they are politically right.

You reap what you sow. The day major incident takes place and your services will be down facing losses of more than 100 Million dollars, that will be the day you will realise the value of hardworking employees over these reservation category people or AI with bad mindset.

Customer Service and Application

Customer Service is depending on the Branches of the Bank. I was really satisfied with one of the branches in Berlin. But unfortunately I cant say the same for the other branches they have poor customer service. And the Deutsche Bank application is poorly done for easy customer use. The application will not notify you when you receive money or withdraw money. This is also making me concern for the security reasons.

Avoid this bank if you respect your own…

Avoid this bank if you respect your own professionalism.
I had contacted their English support line to ask about how my grandfather could regain access to one of his savings accounts from 30+ years ago, before I could even finish asking what steps could HE take, the service provider immediately interrupted me and treated me as if I was trying to steal account information and cut the line on me before I could form a full sentence.
I understand it’s all about protecting a customers account safety and confidentiality but atleast let me finish my sentence and explain that I’m only looking to gain information on how HE can start the recovery process, not me.
Avoid at all costs, a 6 year old toddler has greater manners than some of these customer service representatives.

Poor customer service and outdated digital experience

I have been using Deutsche Bank as my main salary account in Germany, but this recent experience has made me seriously reconsider that.

My Debit Card Plus expired in August 2026, and I was not informed in advance that it would not be renewed. I only found out after contacting the bank myself.

The initial explanation was extremely brief and referred generally to my Russian citizenship and temporary residence permit. Only after several follow-ups and a formal complaint did Deutsche Bank finally provide a proper written explanation of the legal and regulatory basis.

I understand that the bank has to comply with sanctions regulations. What I do not consider acceptable is the lack of proactive communication and the amount of effort required from the customer just to receive a clear answer.
More generally, Deutsche Bank’s digital infrastructure feels outdated.

Compared with Revolut, where card management, support, notifications and account information are handled directly and transparently in the app, Deutsche Bank still relies heavily on phone calls, fragmented service channels and traditional mail for issues that should be straightforward to handle digitally.

In addition, I do not experience comparable practical problems with Revolut, despite the fact that both banks operate under European regulatory requirements. This makes the contrast in customer experience even more noticeable.

If Deutsche Bank already knew that my card would not be renewed, I would expect to be informed before it expired. Instead, I had to discover the issue myself and repeatedly push for clarification.

The final response from the Complaints Department was detailed and professional. However, it addressed the legal basis of the card restriction while saying essentially nothing about my separate complaint regarding the poor quality of service, the lack of prior notification and the handling of my case.

As a result, I no longer intend to use Deutsche Bank as my primary salary bank and will minimize my banking relationship with the bank going forward.

Exceptional Exceptional Team Excellence Led by Greta's Outstanding ExpertiseCustomer Service Experience…

Exceptional Customer Service Experience at Deutsche Bank Unter den Linden. From the moment I entered the branch, Greta demonstrated exceptional professionalism and genuine care for understanding my financial needs. What impressed me most was her ability to explain complex banking products and account types in a clear, comprehensible manner without overwhelming me with unnecessary jargon... She strikes the perfect balance between thorough guidance and respecting customers' time.

An Insult to Customer Service

It seems that I am joing a very long row of disgruntled customers: “An insult to customer service, competence and professionalism. I had to wait 12 days for a reply to my email. Today, for the umpteenth time, I wanted to speak to a customer service representative, and after being told I’d be put through, the call was hung up on me. My previous request for a call-back was answered by email. ‘Sorry, I wasn’t in the bank; please write to me and I’ll reply by email.’ Unbelievable!”
My google review prompted a response and asking me to send an e-mail with further details and the response was please send a letter to......

I would even vote 0 if it was possible. This bank is garbage. Customer support is terrible. No answer. Things just stop working like CC and there is no one to answer and imagine you are in a foreign country stuck and need your CC.

Terrible service.

I made an urgent purchase price payment for a property at the self-service terminal on Thursday. On Monday the money had still not been debited. The hotline cheekily claimed that there was no transaction at all in the system, even though I was holding the printed receipt in my hand.

At the local branch I was then informed of a “system error” which delayed processing by a further 2 days. The worst: The branch strictly refuses to confirm this internal bank error in writing so that I can inform the notary. Instead, I was brazenly told that my lawyer should write to customer service! Due to this incompetence and refusal, I am now threatened with legal action and late payment interest.

In addition, real-time transfers almost never work at this bank (not even for 1 euro). Zero reliability, zero customer focus. Absolutely not recommended!

It's absolutely terrible

It's absolutely terrible. They don't answer calls, they revoked any emails, there is nothing working online. If your credit card was stolen say goodbye to your money - nobody will help you. Keep away from this "bank".

Unfortunately there are no 0 stars

Unfortunately there is no option to give 0 stars. The personnelle is completely incompetent, they are not able to resolve even the smallest problem. I have been trying for 3 weeks to get my access credentials renewed and nothing has worked. Additionally, they make you feel like their deficiencies are your fault. The hotline is a complete disaster, again total incompetence and incapability of helping in any way. Moreover, they often hang up on clients for no reason whatsoever. Shame on this bank and on who earns money from it while keeping the clients desperate. Ridiculous. I can’t wait to change banks.
