A scam site they will say it's a 1 time fee and charge your card a yearly subscription

As everyone else has said - avoid at all costs! Thought i was paying 95p only to then be subscribed with no upfront warning!

SCAM - DO NOT USE. Just had to raise a charge back with my bank/Mastercard. I cancelled the subscription with them and put a block on them takign payments with my bank but they used a different bank account in order to get around this and managed to still take the payment.

Giving one star be a zero isn’t possible . This company are scammers . I authorised a payment for one PDF conversion which they took a Payment from my card for of 95p all good . Then I noticed a few months later the company had been charging me a subscription fee of £39.99 every month after . I froze the card and requested a charge back from my card company after discovering that i couldn’t stop the subscription as i didn’t have an active account with the company ( wasn’t asked to create one ) and that’s the only way to request cancellation of a subscription. Despite giving best PDF screenshots of my business account showing the transactions with dates and their own reference numbers along with my cards last 4 digits and the name on the card used to purchase they say they can’t find a record of the payments to refund me . Very convenient. Avoid this company like the plague. It’s better to use Adobe where you can actually have a free trial then cancel it pay £14.99 a month to continue a non scamming membership.

So these scumbags have now changed their name to TheBestPDF I believe. Using the same scamming method. Please be careful

It is a scam website . They show on the top of the sponsored results and ask for one time download payment of 0.90$ and automatically uses your card details later for subscription model.
Without any prior notice, without any information or consent. It is a big time scam these guys are doing. Such websites should be reported and banned. Be aware of putting in any card details on this website

As many others have mentioned before this is a FRAUD. I ussed once, like a half an hour, for a short document and because I have a broken bone in a hand, I paid 0,95 cnets and today I receive a charge in my bank of 39,95 Euros.
I just tried to cancel but I believe I am gonna cancel my card too.

They use a dark pattern (which is illegal) to unknowingly subscribe - and it's not cheap. To the best of my knowledge I didn't sign up for the product - it just appeared and as I was opening a PDF it activated. So that will have been a dishonest and misleading ad that made that happen. I have asked them for a refund - after going through several rounds of "we'll let you use it for free and half the sub cost" they agreed to a refund. I've had to write 3 times to say it hasn't been transferred. The response is always polite - but the action isn't there. I waited the allotted 14 business days before I went back. They assure me its due to my bank and not them. Utter rubbish. They are crooks.

SCAMMERS! Do not use, do not buy anything. I paid £0.95 for a rubbish PDF file. Couple of days later they have tried to charge me £47.95. I did not create an account, I did not sign for any subscription.

Best PDF promoted by Google Search quickly comes up as a Free Service for compressing the file and when we go for compressing after that initially it asks for email id and later on at the time of download it shares the link for download on the email id but with a Catch.
It asks you to pay an amount for downloading after initially declaring it as fre. It is completely Non- Professional. On one hand we have so many free softwares on the other hand such deceitful behaviour is not acceptable. BestPDF Please return my document..taken illegally.
Also a Note for Google- How are you placing BestPDF service on top without verifying the quality? Please maintain good business ethics and standards. In hindsight, you are helping a thief or an unscruplous element.

They signed me up to a subscription without my knowledge or agreement. Looking at the reviews, this is not the first time. I would ask the powers that be to investigate this company and their practices.

I used the service @0,95€ for one instance--worked fine, then the company signed me up for a year's subscription without telling me, did not notify me when the fee was about to post, and charged a full year, then refused to refund it. Seems a bit of a scam.

If I could give a -10 I would. Scam scam scam. DO NOT USE!!!

I was also billed having not signed up or used the service. They say they have refunded-we will see. The scary thing is they debited my card without permission.

These people are scamsters DO NOT USE. They convert $1 charged into $37 USD a month. Even though you do not sign up to a subscription. DO NOT USE.

Horrible, they scam for money.

They charge $1 first and then $39 after a couple weeks.

When you try to get the money back, they refuse.

Dont go anywhere near this company, despite cancelling a subscription that was a con in the first place I eventually had to contact my banlk to stop them taking money.

Supposedly free pdf conversion. Then they charge 0.95, and use payment to charge monthly subscription without any agreement on your part. Stay away!
