Fantastic consultant, fantastic pre op and post op care. Benenden’s support to receive help was exceptionally great!

I contacted Benenden and was given a doctor’s appointment within a few hours on the same day. I spoke to a doctor who was sympathetic and helpful and prescribed an antibiotic which solved my problem.

On this occasion I was able to get an appointment only a few days before NHS. I found the method of communication with the appropriate person frustrating because they only used text messages. After my final appointment I then had to get my doctor to refer me for the treatment that the doctor recommended via the NHS so I am now waiting via the NHS, not much of an advantage gained really.

The GP took the time to listen to my health concerns, and the treatment options were explained clearly. He made sure I understood all the steps. I felt heard, respected, and involved in the decision-making process. The decent choice of appointment availability offers flexibility around my schedule.

Benenden provided a very quick diagnostic service. Local NHS waiting times were 2 months but I was seen within 2 weeks. Diagnosis to treatment has been only 6 weeks. At the time I contacted Benenden I was in considerable pain. I am now in recovery following a major operation.

The service is great as it lets you have a faster appointment with a specialist u may not have months to wait for seeing . People are competent, professional, helpful and understanding. I would definitely reccomend it . I have been a member for several years now . It’s reassuring to know that Benenden can help when NHS can’t ! Money well spent for what u get back from it .

They arranged help within a short time and a GP rang me back at within the promised time. Their questioning was thorough and the medication prescribed worked well and enabled me to feel myself again.
