I didn’t have to wait to long for my Deep Forest Wingman!
I didn’t have to wait to long for my Deep Forest Wingman to come back into stock, just added to the anticipation! Arrived on time and I was not disappointed
Baum Guitar's Experience.
I'm a big fan of giving credit where credit is due. I really needed to share my recent experience with Baum Guitars.
I work in retail, and I really care about how smooth/intuitive companies can make things for us, the customers. Especially when it's online ordering and from another country.
I recently received my long-awaited 10th Anniversary Celestor, which I had been making payments on for the last 9 months. I have to say that I am just so amazed not only with the experience, but with the product as well.
I stumbled onto this company while doing research online. I fell in love with their marketing as well as the designs of these unique instruments.
The website was clear and easy to navigate. That's how I found out about the payment plan and immediately secured my guitar.
Setting up the payment plan was easy. I liked that I could log into my account and make payments whenever I had extra funds.
After paying it off, I emailed Baum straight away in pure excitement. Unfortunately, they were on their much-deserved summer holiday and wouldn't be returning to the shop for another 2 weeks. I completely understood, but was selfishly upset that I had to wait even longer.
Baum impressed me when I got an email that my order had shipped the very next day! I just couldn't believe the level of customer service/dedication.
I watched my purchase leave the shop and travel through 3 countries to get to me in 3 days. Again, my level of trust in the company grew exponentially.
The cherry on top of all of this was that the guitar is an absolute gem. It plays perfectly, and I'm in love!
The products from Baum are certainly worth your hard-earned money, especially when these products are being backed by such a great company that makes things smooth as legato.
I'll be back for more Baum in the future,
Thanks again, Baum crew!
Stunning design
Stunning design! The quality of the components! Literally every little detail comes together flawlessly, especially in this stunning Vintage White livery. Mine arrived perfectly set-up and is a joy to play. In my opinion, Baum absolutely nailed it with the Celestor. At this price, the Celestor definitely puts a lot of much higher priced competitors to shame! If you were to bring out a version with a maple fretboard in the future, I'm in!!! The ordering process is easy and clear and the delivery was fast, excellent and easy to trace.
But this. Now
I’ve had around 4 or 5 gigbag now. It not a lot but I’ve been playing for 3-4 years. All of them have been sloppy or stiff like a brick. But the Baum gigbag? It’s perfectly balanced. Not a thin fabric but not a piece of rock either. It fits all my 3 guitars and I highly suggest you buy this gigbag. Like. Rigth now.

More as 5 Stars are not possible
I am searching for a little different type of Stratocaster Guitar and here it is the Celestor. Well build very good playability. With a very nice bag included. I buy a B-Ware there should or could be some minor issues as using patterns or scratches (all very minor) but there is nothing to see on the guitar. Only the first use pf the bag was a little be tricky with the zipper but now all works fine and smooth. For this price i got a very well guitar in all the ways were you must really search for the same quality at this price point. Sounds very well and i am not really missing the solo middle PU it will be nice compensated by the Neck and bridge PU.
Many Thanks to Baum Guitars

Light as a Feather, with Powerful Jabs
I bought my Baum REVIVAL Wingman Bass directly from Baum's online store. I was looking for a J-style bass for my gigs with FLUFFERS my Glam- Punk band, after selling my previous one.
It was a decent bass but the bridge pickup lacked the punch I needed and the overall weight became uncomfortable during longer shows.
The moment I saw the Wingman REVIVAL online, I was hooked. The offset body shape immediately stood out—without a doubt one of the coolest bolt-on bass designs I've ever seen. The Stone Blue finish looked stunning, and the pickup configuration was exactly what I had been searching for.
Buying an instrument without trying it first always involves a bit of risk, so I spent some time researching reviews and demos. What really caught my attention was the sound of the bridge pickup. It had the punch I had been missing from my previous bass. In fact, *Power Jabs* is probably the perfect name for this pickup set.
When the bass finally arrived, it exceeded my expectations.
Comfort and Playability
The REVIVAL Wingman Bass feels remarkably light, making it a joy to wear for long rehearsals and gigs. Combined with its ergonomic offset body, it sits perfectly on the strap with absolutely no neck dive.
It's simply a very easy bass to play.
The 19 mm string spacing gives my right hand plenty of room, whether I'm playing fingerstyle, slapping, or using a pick. It feels comfortable and natural to play.
Construction
The bass is solid and well put together, with a neck profile that is comfortable without feeling too slim or too chunky.
One small detail I absolutely love is the **lollipop tuners**. They perfectly complement the vintage-inspired aesthetics while adding plenty of personality to the instrument.
Electronics and Sound
The controls are straightforward, and I love the "Sweet spot" on the Pickup blend nob.
The pickups are positioned in the classic 1960s Jazz Bass spacing, delivering a tone that leans toward the vintage side. There's a nice amount of midrange presence, but the sound never becomes harsh. Instead, it's warm, punchy, balanced, and full of clarity.
The neck pickup delivers smooth, rounded tones, while the bridge pickup has exactly the bite I was hoping for.
My Final Thoughts
After spending 3 weeks with the Baum REVIVAL Wingman, I can honestly say it's one of those instruments that just feels right from the very beginning.
It's incredibly comfortable, perfectly balanced, and so easy to play.
For me, the Baum REVIVAL Wingman ticks every box.
It is exactly the J-style bass I was looking for—lightweight, inspiring, and full of character.
"Light as a feather, with powerful jabs"
Thanks again to the Baum Family !!!

Fallen in love with my Celestor
Hi, I've been holding to write a review of my Celestor that was delivered on February 2026. Just to be sure it's not just honeymoon anymore.
I have to say I love this guitar more day by day. Build quality and playability are excellent. I also like the pickups and have no need to to swap the to anything else. This quitar is definitely in bar with any quitar I have in the house - even the boutique once.
I did change tuners to locking ones but that was more of due my preference than that the original tuner would not be ok. One small thing was that saddle filing was left a bit too high but that was also an easy small fix.
No only waiting Celestor HSS with locking tuners :)
Baum Revolt Original Series.
Bought my Revolt on a b-stock sale. First unit I received had some setup and tuning stability issues. Email assistance from the Baum team was quick and professional. I received the replacement unit shortly after my request for an exchange. The guitar had been carefully inspected and set-up with none of the problems that afflicted the first unit. I took my time with it nonetheless, since the 45 days try at home period was still valid, and I played it back to back against my other guitars for many hours a day. The neck has a very good feeling in my hand, It’s what I liked most from the start. I can go quite low with the string action even switching to 9-42. The body is not the most comfortable to hold while seated or standing, there’s a bit of neck dive, but I like the original shape and chambering. The sound is, to my ears, quite pleasing: there’s a good bit of bite and attack in all 3 positions, middle position has a nice clarity which is somewhat still present in both neck and bridge positions albeit with added bite and compression. I switch often from clean tones to ridiculous boost/fuzz/distortion pedal stacks and the pickups handle everything with elegance with a bit of volume pot adjustment. The Bigsby is what it is: a pain when you change strings and less effective than a standard trem, but still usable with some restraint. In summary I have found in the Revolt a very well crafted instrument, with the retro looks I like but modern in playability and characterful in tone. Thanks again to the Baum team for the prompt, professional and effective response to my doubts and issues.
Outstanding Guitar
Dedicated to their customers and couldn’t fault. The guitar was way beyond my expectations. You can feel the quality and care that has been put into it,and I will probably be buying again soon.
Baum Celestor guitar
I have been thinking about buying a Strat for a long time. Options that I had for my budget were Fender Player II or Vintera, or save some money and buy an American Strat later. I wanted a guitar that I could buy and keep for a lifetime. The guitar that will inspire me keep playing, sound and looking good, comfortable to play, being “mine” guitar.
I’ve heard about Baum before, but the price was above my budget. But then I saw this Celestor which was on the spring discount. So I ordered it.
The service was fantastic. The Baum team answered on my emails and helped me to get the guitar that I needed. The guitar was delivered just in three days from Denmark to Norway. It was well packed.
The setup on the guitar was great, so I just picked it up, connected to my equipment and started playing. I couldn’t stop. The time just flew. I spent 1,5 hour without noticing it. I had so much fun. The Celestor sounds amazing, so comfortable to play. The build quality is very high. It feels like you have I a custom shop guitar that costs at least two times more than the actual price of this guitar. Such an amazing instrument. The guitar that will be with on my musical journey.
Thank you, Baum!
Flawless experience (and a spectacular guitar)
I recently purchased the Baum Leaper Melody VEGA in Nordic Green, and I couldn't be happier with my decision: NGB Nordic Green Beast! The guitar is an absolute masterpiece—it arrived in mint condition, with excellent craftsmanship and a level of quality that stands out the second you pick it up.
Beyond how spectacular the instrument is, the service was optimal, fast, and highly professional. It’s a pleasure to deal with brands that care so much about both their product and their customers. Highly recommended!

Baum Celestor
First the positives. I purchased the Baum Celestor as a replacement for my old Strat. It's easy to play, beautiful crafting on body and neck.
Now the negatives
The pick ups are incredibly sensitive to interference. First gig I played the buzzing was so bad in position 1, 3 and 5 that I had to play the gig using 2 and 4. This wasn't a one off, it happened at the next gig and then again. I tried to increase the shielding but made no difference.
I know single coils are susceptible but this can usually be tempered with a noise gate...not on the Celestor. The noise gate threshold was so low that it killed any sustain.
It appears my helix floorbox is the main cause of the buzzing. If I angle myself away at about 45 degrees it gets better but it's a very tight zone which is impossible in a live situation.
I am now going to have to replace the pickups with some noiseless ones as it's that bad. Not great when you have paid £1300 for a new guitar!
The setup on the guitar on delivery wasn't great either. Intonation was out and the 'floating trem' was flat against the body. Once I had adjusted the springs were very noisy. Every use or touch of tremelo caused a creaking to be heard FOH. Not good. Replaced those with noiseless springs.
Overall very disappointed. Looks great but for the guitar I have it's unusable in a live environment with it's pickups.
I ordered a guitar
I ordered a guitar, but shortly after placing the order, I realized I would prefer a different color. I contacted customer support to ask if a change would be possible. To my surprise, they responded quickly and were very accommodating, allowing me to switch the color without any issues.
I truly appreciate their flexibility and willingness to help, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It’s not always easy to make changes after placing an order, so their support really stood out.
The guitar is simply amazing!
The guitar is simply amazing! It has a wonderful feel! The weight is perfect, the fretboard is absolutely comfortable and of course the sound is great!!! I am absolutely happy that I chose a Baum guitar because it meets exactly the specifications stated by the company itself..! I highly recommend the company to anyone who wants to acquire a high-quality instrument at an affordable price! Excellent value for money instruments!
