They just cancel orders when they want

I’ve ordered a limited edition item but because there was an error in their system, instead of contacting me (they have all my contact information) they just canceled my order. Making it impossible for me to ever get the limited edition item I wanted to get, since it was already sold out in the meantime…
They could have at least reserved the item and ask if I wanted to reorder it before canceling my order. Which by the way was already confirmed!!
Impossible to contact them on the phone + they just take days to react when you have a question.
Very poor customer service!!
I don’t think I will ever order anything from them anymore.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I have received.

I returned the jersey that did not fit me, and I still have not seen the refund credited to my account. This is unacceptable.

To make matters worse, I had to pay for my own return label, and despite emailing your customer service about this, I have never received a response. For a company that charges premium prices and promotes itself as a high-end brand, I expected a much higher standard of service.

At this point, I have lost confidence in your company. I will be leaving a detailed review describing my experience and rating it zero stars. Customers deserve to know how poorly this situation has been handled.

This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. I am very disappointed and expect my refund to be processed immediately, along with a response regarding the return shipping cost that I should never have had to pay.

No I look forward to your prompt resolution.

Assos internatioanl orders

When ordering directly from Assos website to countries that are subjected to import tax avoid at all costs. For some bizarre reason Assos policy is to declare the value of the goods as the full RRP even when discounted resulting in the customer being burdened with additional tax which is not related to the actual cost of the items.

It's hard to understand this policy. For example if you purchase goods in the sale that were $600 and paid $400. Assos feel it's okay to declare the goods as $600.

Also for fully priced International orders Assos does not deduct the VAT. Its a win win situation for Assos and lose lose for the customer.

Ive been wearing Assos for 12 years now and have noticed the quality has been decreasing.

They still have some good products but better to purchase from third party suppliers that will at least respect the customer and declare the value of goods as the actual amount paid.

At first their cycling tights seem great. I bought numerous pairs for summer and fall and the summer ones are so transparent you can see everything on the backside and the cycling tights fall apart very quickly. The elastic on the waist breaks immediately, holes in the waist. Poor quality for such expensive cycling clothing

Terrible customer service!

Terrible customer service!! A return is already taking over a month, and now ASSOS is saying my return cannot be handled because I supposedly “used” a bib, which I absolutely did not!
Will never order or wear products from them again!

What is happening with Assos returns at the London store. 3 weeks still waiting and very very poor communications. You have to chase for an update and then you are lucky if you do get an update or a reply! Destroying a great product with poor customer service!

What a shame……

The products are great, but…….. if you wish to return anything or wish to deal with after sales, they are an utter disaster.

I bought some bib shorts from them and was told that a carrier would contact me, regarding a return, but never did, and I had to end up sending it back myself through Royal Mail. The refund is still outstanding.

Contacting them, it is always through a really poor customer service link where you’re waiting days for responses and very rarely the response that you want, just hopeless platitudes.

If you want to buy Assos gear, don’t do it through Assos themselves as if it’s not right i.e. size colour etc and you’re wanting to send it back you will end up losing the will to live

Assos, if you actually read this, you really should be ashamed of yourselves, with reference to your app, after sales and refunds process. I suggest you figure out how the likes of Amazon and Gymshark do it and learn quickly and adapt, because, it matters not how good your products are, and they are, it’s how good your customer experience is with not only your products but your processes too. Make buying, and returning, your products easy

Sent the wrong item

I purchased a jersey, shorts and socks set. When the package arrived, the shorts were a cheaper model in the wrong size. I immediately returned them for a refund, stating the reason clearly on the returns form and included a note in the returns package. Almost three weeks after the returns were received by Assos, I noticed that no refund had been processed. I queried this and was told they were not going to refund me as I had not returned the item ordered!!!

I have asked the credit card company to refund the payment but this is totally unacceptable.

I bought the shorts anyway through brilliant retailer Condor but I will think carefully about buying any other Assos gear and it certainly won't be via the Assos website.

Years of faultless online experience

Surprised at all the negative reviews. Made me question whether I was looking at the right company! I am an international customer and had nothing but a faultless experience with Assos. Their overall product quality and service is the best I experienced so far; and I have purchased from all the big names. I bought from nearly every product category they offer and cant complain. Considering their primary business model is design/manufacturing and not ecommerce, their online sales service beats every other brand and ecommerce retailer I have used (their app is sometimes buggy but the website works with no issues and well designed). I am an international customer and they even offer me free returns and refunds on every order, no matter how small. I only once experienced a problem with a GTS bib short after some use. I sent photos and after a little while received a brand new one under their warranty service!

Very disappointed

I’m really disappointed with my recent experience with ASSOS customer service.

I recently purchased the MILLE GTO Bib Shorts S11 Long in Medium. When I tried them on before riding, they seemed fine. However, it was only after one ride that it became clear they don’t fit properly. The shorts ride up the leg, so instead of being “long” they end up feeling very short while riding.

I contacted customer support promptly to ask if I could exchange them, as this is clearly something that can only be identified when actually using the product on the bike.

Unfortunately, I was told that because the item had been worn, no exchange or refund could be offered — only a 30% discount on a future purchase.

This doesn’t feel reasonable for a premium technical product at this price point. Issues like this simply can’t be identified without riding in the kit, and I raised it immediately after first use.

I would have expected a brand like ASSOS to stand behind their products more strongly. I’d still welcome the opportunity to resolve this fairly.

Premium price, zero accountability

I purchased a pair of ASSOS Equipe R Bib Shorts for USD $225, expecting premium quality and durability. Instead, after approximately 10 normal rides and proper washing following care instructions, the fabric developed holes in both the front and rear panels.
When I contacted ASSOS, I provided photos and a clear explanation. Their response was to immediately blame the customer, claiming “user-caused damage,” including vague and unsupported statements such as “heat damage” and “snagging,” without any technical inspection, testing, or objective evidence.
The case was supposedly reviewed with “upper management,” yet the outcome remained the same: no replacement, no refund, no store credit — only a dismissive 15% discount offer to buy another overpriced product.
This experience shows that ASSOS markets itself as a premium brand, but does not stand behind its products when real quality issues arise. A $225 technical garment failing in less than three months of normal use should never be considered acceptable.
I have completely lost confidence in ASSOS. I will not purchase from this brand again and strongly caution others: premium pricing does not mean premium support or guarantees.

Customer support

I ordered three tops on 15/1, which were split into two parcels. One parcel arrived and the other did not. I contacted the delivery company, Evri, and after a long back-and-forth they admitted the parcel was lost.
I then 25/1 contacted Asos customer support, but the process has been extremely tiresome. They refused to resolve the issue and asked me to wait even longer. I have now had to repeat this process for the third time, even though the parcel will clearly not arrive, just to request a refund.
I would not recommend dealing with this company.

Don’t expect any warranty service

If there is a fabric issue with the jersey or bib you purchased, you will receive no compensation at all.
After wearing a winter bib and jersey only four times, pilling appeared, but the warranty service was denied. They repeatedly asked for photos of my bike and the clothing from multiple angles, and then claimed it was my fault.
The areas with pilling did not come into contact with the bike, and none of my other cycling clothes have had this issue. They shift the responsibility for fabric defects onto the customer.
I will never purchase from this brand again.

Product quality ≠ customer service

I received a shipping confirmation on January 6, 2026, and FedEx later marked the package as “delivered” on January 8. However, the package never arrived. I live in a building with a secured mailroom and package lockers that require scanning and generate automatic delivery notifications. I never received any delivery notification, access code, or proof of deliver; and FedEx has no photo or signature on file.

I did everything asked of me: checked the mailroom repeatedly, contacted my building, and filed a missing package claim with FedEx. Complicating matters further, ASSOS initially provided me with an incorrect tracking number, which delayed the claim process even more.

Despite providing detailed documentation and updates, customer support has been unhelpful and rigid, repeatedly telling me they cannot assist until FedEx “accepts” the claim. Communication has been dismissive, and even my name has been misspelled multiple times throughout the case.

I understand procedures, but good customer service means advocating for your customer when a delivery clearly failed — especially when there is no proof the package was ever delivered.

The products may be high-quality, but this experience has made me hesitant to order again due to the lack of support when something goes wrong.

I think that 1 star is too generous for…

I think that 1 star is too generous for this lot.
Having been a loyal Assos customer for around 25 years, I have always bought Assos products and nothing else.
About 18 months ago I had a faulty pair of gloves. It took Assos almost 12 months to actually sort them out.
Not impressed.
Less than a year ago I bought some new winter bib tights, I got them in the summer so only started wearing them in the autumn. Last week I noticed that the bib tights, whilst still looking like brand new everywhere else, have worn through at the rear, near to the centre seam. Not ripped or torn, worn through, they are so thin they are see through, and have a large hole in them.
So they went back to the bike shop I bought them from. This is where Assos fail.
The rep looked at them, agreed they were a warranty, and took pictures of them. He then has to forward them to his boss to make a decision because he is not authorised to do so. If the warranty is accepted, Assos require the bike shop to cut them up and send pictures, then they will issue a credit note. Once the credit note has been received, the bike shop can order a replacement pair. Assuming that they have some in stock, because they make small batches and when the batch has sold out, you have to wait until they make some more. So I cannot even use them whilst I wait for some replacement ones, at the time of year when I really need them.
Absolutely dreadful way to run a business, you are selling a premium product at a premium price yet the service is absolutely pound shop pants. Here is an idea for Assos, why not let your rep make the decision, and if a product is faulty, just replace it. Why make the bike shop owner who is busy trying to run his business jump through hoops to do all the work for you?
And then why should the customer who has paid out a sum pushing towards £200 for an inferior product have to wait weeks, months to get a replacement? What use is a pair of bib tights to me in summer? By the time I start to use them, they will be 6 months old, and well into the warranty period.
It seems that Assos is trading on its reputation.
Dreadful service.
I think it's time that I found a new company to deal with, my loyalty to the brand obviously means nothing to them.

Good products but unusable app

I like your products and order all my equipment from you, but your app is useless. Unless you order from a browser, it simply doesn’t work. Tried several times in the last year and nothing. The assos app from a german based location - seems to be the issue.

I also want to say that I’ve used their warranty policy and reached out to their customer service several times, all went smoothly for me. Thanks again for your good range of products.

Excellent experience with many products

I’ve got many Assos products, and my experience has been only positive. Shipping isn't overnight, but has been reliable, typically taking ~3 days from Switzerland to the UK. In all the years I've used Assos, I've experienced only one manufacturing issue (imperfect stitching on a glove), which was quickly remedied under warranty.

Moreover, when I ripped bib tights (my fault), I found Assos’s repair service impeccable. First class service!

While I question whether Assos gloves are worth the price, the bibs and base layers are superb. Only Q36.5, particularly its base layers, gives Assos a run for its money in my experience.
