This company is terrible
This company is terrible. I bought a subscription as I started to work from home and then I left my position. I didn't think about the subscription after I left, then I received a notification that my subscription would automatically be renewed and it was far inside their 30day notice of cancellation. BTW, at no time was I notified I needed to give a 30 day written notice of wanting to cancel the subscription. I spoke to them about not wanting to renew and was told on the phone that if there wasn't enough funds in my account the subscription would be cancelled. I considered the matter closed. Then they had the nerve to send the account to collections. Stay away from this company, they are crooks and I ended up having to pay for a subscription I never received.
You either die a hero or live long…
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. From being the hero due to TeamViewer being greedy to being the villain and the greedy business. I have used Anydesk free licenses for years to connect to my personal devices, but now I'm being forced to buy a license because I'm labelled as a professional user and attempting to whitelist for personal/fair use doesn't work at all. The whitelisting says it will take up to 48 hours to take effect. Turns out that after 48 hours for the whitelisting, I have to wait 1000 secs now before I can establish a connection to my personal device, and the connection only stays up for 5 minutes, and then I have to wait another 1000 secs to complete the AnyDesk connection.
I will look for an alternative like RustDesk and no longer recommend this software to anyon.
a year ago I paid $174 for a single…
a year ago I paid $174 for a single user license. All of a sudden with a renewal, they want $346.80. Absolutely insane. I have been trying to reach someone, ANYONE at Anydesk but to no avail............. This will turn into a situation that I hope I can broadcast world-wide about corporate greed. I have a proxmox server setup already and will implement Rustdesk in the next day or two. F-U Anydesk. A-holes.
I did try to reach their customer…
I did try to reach their customer support team by their page or email, multiple times and not reply back. I do not recommend them!!!
They are now threatening me over their incompetence
AnyDesk provided login credentials that did not work after I purchased their service. Resetting the password did not resolve the issue. When I contacted support, they repeatedly told me to reset the password despite my explaining that I had already done so multiple times.
After getting nowhere, I filed a chargeback because the service was unusable. More than a year later, they are now using a debt collection firm to threaten legal action over less than $700.
I personally find the threat of being taken to court in Germany over unusable login credentials more absurd than intimidating. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend doing business with AnyDesk.
Terrible customer service and unstable software
Extremely disappointed with my experience with AnyDesk. Despite having used various other remote desktop services—many of which are free—that connect to my personal PCs without any issues, AnyDesk consistently fails and crashes.
My machines have standard configurations with no complex settings that should hinder access, yet AnyDesk remains unusable. Every time I contact customer support, their only solution is to "update the client," which never resolves the underlying problem. It is unacceptable to pay for a service that fails to perform its basic function, resulting in a complete waste of money for the few months I used it. I cannot recommend this software for anyone looking for a reliable remote access solution.
These guys are frauds, stay away from them
These guys are frauds. First, they are increasing fees 100% every year and when I wish not to continue and requested to delete my account, instead of doing that asking me to pay the whole year's fees for a “deactivated licence” which can’t be used and never was. On top of that, threatening me with legal action if payment is not made and keep on sending legal notices. This is the first time I have seen any company doing that. When we are not using your services at all, and you have already deactivated the licence, and when no one can use it? What should we pay you for? Never seen in my 25+ years of working ANY COMPANY forcing you to pay for “Deactivated Licence”.
Second Price increase in 2 years
Second Price increase in 2 years
Got another email about another price increase this morning I will be moving away from this greedy company end of the month i paid until October but rather move over now that use this ever again
They increased their prices by almost 90% in the last 2 years impossible to support such businesses
AnyDesk is very useful when connecting…
AnyDesk is very useful when connecting colleagues computers for any purpose including training, fie transfers etc. Easy, uninterrupted and continuous connection is an advantage to to perform daily needs of your business. They are very interested with their clients asking their needs to make thing easy and professional.
What a bunch of con-artists
What a bunch of con-artists. We tried using it as a cheaper alternative to the vastly superior TeamViewer but their opaque terms and conditions lock you into automatic annual renewal at inflated prices unless you cancel more than 30 days before the end of your term. Tried to cancel our subscription after we'd been notified it would renew but was told this was not possible and when we blocked payment they set a debt collection agency on us so ended up paying a lot more. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.
The AnyDesk team is very responsive to…
The AnyDesk team is very responsive to the real needs of the user. When we evolved from simply helping friends via remote connection to contractual assistance, we had to subscribe to a license. Later, after the number of beneficiaries assisted decreased, we were able to subscribe to an annual license with a discount appropriate to our new real needs.
30 days notice required for cancellation or they send you to collections
Anydesk used to be the best. I started using them VERY early from their exit from teamviewer, and the application developed nicely over the years. Unfortunately, they decided to become predatory, and raised the yearly license from $180 to $700. They require 30 days notice of cancellation, even though I never agreed to any such terms since my license was automatically converted from the original license every time the price was raised. I'll be moving to another platform like rustdesk. They will send you to collections if you cancel within 30 days of your renewal.
Reliable and efficient.
Scammers and debt collector company. Very unproffesional.
I already told them to cancel my subscription and weirdly they need 1 month prior notice and now they send me notice via third party debt collector company.. amount was almost double then my original billing amount.. i just told them now one year ago to cancel it .. just stay away from this company and save your money.
This is the worst company ever to buy…
This is the worst company ever to buy something from. No customer care that can help you. When you cancel your subscription like me 6 months ago you dont ever get confirmation and then they said we never get that so they forcing you to pay another fee and threatening you for what can happen. Never never buy from them , dont ever think of buying from them its a scam!!
Fairly disappointing experience
Fairly disappointing experience. It's 'professional use' heuristics are remarkably bad, issuing false positives and scolding users basically. I use it to connect to my one PC at home, and my phone, maybe a few times a week, but it's flagged as being professional and hence I can't use the service.
Very dissappointing experience
Very dissappointing experience, they are forcing customers to pay their services even they don’t need it anymore. Trying to rely on T&C they created completely against business logic and rules and afterwards even use collection companies to force payments for services that has been cancelled before. It is something not expected from reputable company, but this ‘so called’ company obviously cannot work on regular business basis, but to try to scam potential customers and charge them even when they dont need such services.
Unfortunately
Unfortunately, scammers use this platform to get into your computer and steal your information.
