€2,500 deposit taken on evidence that would embarrass a small claims court. Be careful with A.M.A.

We paid quite a lot for a villa week in Puglia, including a €2,500 deposit and a €195 Accidental Damage Waiver.

A.M.A retained the entire deposit. The headline charge: €2,500 to repair a garden sculpture, quoted as complete dismantling and replacement of every handmade element. A.M.A’s own check-out form, signed by the local team, records the damage as “only the bottom”. Their own technical report locates it in the lower portions. The €2,500 quotation was written by the same contractor who would be paid for the work, and is dated three days before the check-out inspection even happened.

Their evidence pack contained twenty photographs. All are screenshots, created two days after our departure, with no camera data. Not one image shows any item’s condition before our arrival, despite repeated requests. An item A.M.A waived in writing was reinstated after we disputed other charges (their email says so in terms), another charged item appears on no signed document, and the damage waiver we paid for was applied to nothing. No repair invoice has ever been produced. Mid-stay we also received a “mandatory” demand for a photo of our credit card, withdrawn a day later as having no contractual basis.

A “final decision” was declared on 7 August; three days later A.M.A admitted in writing it was still gathering the documents to support it. Questions about staff conduct and a camera over the private pool have never been substantively answered.

Beautiful property. Deposit handling we would not risk again.

A.M.A Selections gave me a perfect birthday getaway to St. Martin. Our little villa was even more perfect than the pictures, which was a fantastic surprise! The beach was so quiet and private. The villa was beautiful and cozy. It was so well kept in the yard and pool were maintained during the week. Housekeeping was great and the entire staff was amazing and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be booking with A.M.A again in the near future! Thanks for an amazing trip. Everything was seamless and very easy!!!

We celebrated our 50th Anniversary at Villa Marchesa in Tuscany and couldn't have imagined a more beautiful place to stay and to have a celebration. The house was beautiful and the grounds and pool stunning. AMA did a stellar job helping us plan for our event. We brought family with us, 16 in all, and we're all still reveling in the memories of our week at the villa. The staff Iwona, Simone and Lucca became like family. Iwona helped us get oriented to the area and offered many suggestions on what to do, where to eat and shop, etc. Our chef, Simone, was so excellent that we decided to have her prepare our meals every evening. Thank you AMA and team for your wonderful service and providing us with a vacation of a lifetime.

This was our first time renting with AMA Selections and we were not disappointed. Villa was spectacular as promised and the AMA staff kept in constant contact the entire trip. Looking forward to our next trip!

Our third year renting with AMA and they never disappoint. Mariek and team are true hospitality superstars. Aside from the amazing properties they represent, the service is always flawless. They truly care for their clients. Excellent communication and engagement from booking all the way through to stay. And when you do have an issue on property, the concierge team are always prompt to address and resolve. In the past we've used other villa rental firms when in the cote d'azur, but no one comes close to the great service of AMA.

Took a big chance and booked two weeks in Mallorca with A.M.A. for our family of ten. I had never heard of A.M.A and had a little trepidation. We could not have been happier with both the accommodation, which surpassed in every way our expectations, and the attentive service we received from A.M.A. and the local team. I would not hesitate to book again

I made my family's skiing holiday reservation from AMA Selections. The service level at the Chalet was perfect. Both AMA selections' and the Ultima's concierge services were outstanding. AMA never misses on details and approaches to its customers with huge empathy. I would definitely recommend them.

Lovely 2 weeks staying at Villa Jade in Valbonne. The villa is in an excellent location with superb mountain views and within easy walking distance to Valbonne, which is a lovely small town. The villa itself exceeded our expectations, which were already quite high, so we were very happy. AMA staff were very helpful and always responded promptly to any requirements we had. All in all a fantastic holiday.

Our family of 19, kids, grands and grandparents, had the best vacation ever at Villa Orfea, in Lucca. The house and grounds were magical, chefs delightful and easy to work with, and the onsite manager was available, attentive and personable. The villa was a perfect place to relax and call home when we were not biking, hiking or driving to the beach or other Tuscan towns.
Communication between our concierge and AMA managers could have been better, but in the end the details were all taken care of.

We rented a chalet in Megéve through AMA. They are very responsive and well organized. The customer website works really well and all services were as expected. AMA also handled the pay back of deposit very well. All in all a very good experience. Kind regards, Anders, Copenhagen, Denmark.

We rented a villa in Cap d'Antibes and an apartment in Paris through AMA this summer. I strongly recommend them! I have worked with other rental companies and they do not hold a candle to AMA. Mariek and Zoya were incredibly responsive, as was the whole team. The entire team was on top of everything, thoughtful and kind. The properties were wonderful. And the services were great - everything was outstanding. I plan to book with them again. Thank you to AMA!

We rented a villa in San Gimignano earlier this summer. The property is out of this world - very picturesque, and it is situated at the top of a hill and boasts impressive views. We enjoyed many great moments during our stay at the villa, and the evenings on the terrace were especially magical. A.M.A Selections provides an exceptional luxury experience.
