I have sent an iphone 16 Pro to them. They offered a price I did not agree with and asked for my phone back. It's been 45 days now and I still haven't received my phone back.
Their website is now unreachable. I advice anyone to be in the same position to press charges.

I sold an iPhone 13 mini (Order 520138) for €157.00. On April 7, 2026, Cleverbuy officially confirmed via email that the device was received and compliant, promising payment within 24 hours.
As of today, no payment has been received. Even worse, the company is now completely unreachable: all emails sent to their support addresses (both .it and .de) bounce back as "undeliverable" and their chat is offline. They are currently in possession of my device without having paid for it. I strongly advise everyone to stay away. I will update or delete this review only once the payment is actually settled.

Ad oggi, il bonifico non è mai arrivato. L'azienda è ora totalmente irreperibile: tutte le email inviate all'assistenza tornano indietro con errore di consegna e la chat è disattivata. Di fatto, trattengono il mio dispositivo senza averlo pagato. Sconsiglio vivamente a chiunque di utilizzare questo servizio. Aggiornerò o rimuoverò questa recensione solo a pagamento effettivamente ricevuto.

Also here to warn to NOT do business with Cleverbuy anymore. I sold my Samsung S25 and would get about 540 for it, nothing is happening since February. No responses, no money, no phone back. They are going down and they are taking the money with them. I fear I will never get my money of my phone back.

The iPad is stolen by this company and money are not paid. It’s been 2 months.
How is it possible police is not raiding this “company”?!im preparing a report and law suit on them, and if you are in the same situation - I recommend to do the same.

​I am writing this review to warn other users.
​I have sold 3 devices to Cleverbuy (Orders #00519255, #00518932, #00518931) for a total amount of €446.00.
​The devices were delivered to their warehouse on April 2nd, 2026 via UPS (Trackings: 1Z4WF8699128096419, 1Z4WF8699137057462, 1Z4WF8699135689453). Since then, the company has gone completely silent.
​The most alarming facts:
​Their official support email is bouncing back with "User doesn't exist" errors.
​No payment has been issued after more than 10 days from delivery.
​No response on social media or official channels.
​I have already filed a formal complaint with the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net) and a police report (Strafanzeige) with the German Police in North Rhine-Westphalia (Onlinewache NRW).
​I will NOT remove or edit this review until I receive my payment or my devices back in the same condition. Cleverbuy, pay your debt immediately.

Definitely scammers.
It took me 18 days to get the money for the sold phone, what is pretty quickly. Anyway they sent me less because of the worse condition of the phone than I described. They attached some photos, but it was definitely not my device. I decided not to invest more time. Horrible.

I handed in my mobile in February, Clever buy calculated the price of 300 Euros. There was no payment so far although I reminded several times and even wrote to the board of directors. That company is a theft. Please do not sell to this company. You loose your money completely.

I have sold an Iphone 16 pro 256gb on 8 February, they received the phone on 18 February, and from there I have sent more and more emails and they replied with many excuses and always retarder the payment!
Today we are on 30 March and i did not even get the payment!!

No response at all regarding my iPhone 16 Pro that I sent to sell. It’s been 11 days, even though they promised payment within 5 days. I have received no update via email or online. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I would caution anyone considering using this service."

Transparent and quick!

Good service! They really need to improve in some areas, like shipping service provider, must also be provided with DHL as UPS Parcel shops are not available in every city. To book a pick-up from UPS, it takes 3€ or something like that. DHL should be your choice not UPS.

I sold a mobile phone on this website and the buyer hasn’t been in touch; I haven’t been paid and I haven’t heard a word from them. It’s a scam.

EDIT 23/03 : Still no news to this day despite several persistent follow-ups.

Phone sent new and sealed.
Package received weeks ago.
No payment and no response from support.
Waiting for resolution before legal escalation.

I am extremely disappointed with Cleverbuy.

My device was accepted and the price of €170 was confirmed by me. On 23.02, I was told in writing that the amount would be automatically transferred within 7 days if I didn’t respond. That deadline has long passed.

Despite multiple follow-ups, all I’ve received are vague responses like “forwarded to accounting” or “prioritized with accounting.” To this day, no payment has been received.

Communication seems fine only until it’s time to pay — after that, everything slows to a crawl.

I expect immediate clarification and the confirmed payment to be sent without further excuses. Ill update when i receive my payment.

Sent 2 iPhones for estimation since January, we are now in March and no payment.
They will confirm reception of your goods for estimation with payment under 15 days.

After several reminders via emails and chats, they will request you to be patient and go silence again.
They will come back with a very low value proposal and will promise to pay you within 1 working day.

Of course they go silence again and after several reminder, they will request you to be patient
They will keep your device, never pay you and sell them to another client.
These people are THIEVES!!!
