I must say that when I started reading the comments about Chronext after my purchase, I became alarmed. However, none of what has been reported applied in my case. I paid for my watch and after the payment went through their escrow, the watch was released and dispatched to me. I contacted several times their Customer Service and they were always polite, helpful and came back to me with the information they had at hand.
I am extremely happy with my purchase and I cannot thank the team enough for their support and patience.

Sent them my watch to sell on consignment, have been forced to prod them to get vague answers. Timelines not kept. I gather they are up to no good. Is it a flat out scam? Never again.

My experience with CHRONEXT has been extremely disappointing.
I paid for a watch by bank transfer on 9 April 2026, and CHRONEXT confirmed receipt of my payment on 11 April 2026.
After waiting for months without receiving the watch, I cancelled my order. Despite acknowledging my cancellation and requesting my IBAN for the refund, the company has still not returned my money.
It has now been more than four months since my payment. I have received neither the watch nor my refund.
I have contacted CHRONEXT many times. Every time I receive polite apologies and assurances that my case has been "forwarded to the accounting department" or "escalated internally." However, no one provides a refund date, proof that the payment has been processed, or any concrete solution.
Internal issues such as changes to systems or accounting departments are not the customer's responsibility. They do not justify withholding a customer's money for months.
Based on my experience, CHRONEXT has failed to fulfill its contractual obligations and has repeatedly failed to deliver on its promises.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company. I hope no other customer has to go through the same experience.
I have now referred this matter to the European Consumer Centre for assistance in recovering my money

Chronext has not responded to my email and hard to get them on phone. My watch was sold last year and payment is still pending. Apparently it is pending with their accounts team for approval. Really surprised with their behaviour.

Beware, Chronext is running away with the money. I had the same experience like the others: my watch was successfully sold several months ago and Chronext is not paying what they owe me. I initiated both a criminal and EU civil procedure.

Still no payment received from Chronext. They are jocking each time I send an email or call them.
Still same answer but same result. No payment of my sold watci hope that no one will give them a watch to sell or to buy.

Hello everyone, I am facing the same issues as many of you. Chronext doesn’t pay my watch. This is outrageous, they sell something that belongs to us, take the money and don’t pay us. This is fraud.
We should start together a legal action against Chronext.
How can we act legally together against Chronext?
26 may 2026 still no payment received, the call center always finds an excuse me, they are joking.
No watch, no money.
Do not trust Chronext, avoid sending them your watch for sales.
What about acting legally all together against Chronext for not paying???

My watch Panerai was sold Dec2025 and now we have May 2026 and I still awaiting the payment. I wrote every day emails and called several times and nobody gave me an answer when I will be paid. I will give that case to my lawyer and sue them.

They sold my watch in December 2025. It’s now May 2026, and I still haven’t received my payout. I call every week, yet no one ever calls me back. I’ve sent dozens of emails, and none of them have been answered. This is, without exaggeration, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.

I sent two watches to Chronext in Sept/Oct last year. One (SR940871362) sold on March 10, 2026—still no payment. For the second (SR461098352), I requested a return. Same story as others: ignored emails, empty promises from clueless support. I have now sent a formal legal notice via DHL Express to their Cologne office and will be filing a police report if not resolved by April 24. I trusted The Platform Group AG to fix this company, but I was clearly wrong. Avoid at all costs.

20 April UPDATE : I have been promised that someone will give me a call this week to sort things out. I will keep this updated.

28 April UPDATE : Obviously noone did call me back. Who would have thought that such a brand like Platform Group AG who bough out Chronext will tolerate such horrible custumer experience.

Everything went smoothly and the watch was just like how it was described on the website.

Have sold my £7000 watch and still not paid me after 40 days, contract says 20 days. They are terribly hard to get hold of and when you do it’s all waffle and false promises. I am writing this to warn anybody contemplating selling a watch with them to not bother and find an alternative. They are criminals in a gilded cage.

I sold my watch and the payment was confirmed on Feb 25th. Since then, I have been ignored. I sent 5 emails to update my IBAN (the new one ends in 6486) but no one replies. Your phone support is "not available" and chat is always offline. I have been waiting for 22 days for my money. This is unacceptable. If I don't receive my payment today, I will report this to the European Consumer Centre (ECC) and my lawyer. RESOLVE TICKET #2093905 IMMEDIATELY.

I sold my watch through Chronext 2 months ago. The sale is confirmed, but I have not received my funds. Support is ignoring my emails, and their billing email address is inactive. This is a complete breach of contract. If the payment is not settled immediately, I am filing a formal report with BaFin and the police for misappropriation of funds.

Same story as reported by many other customers. Ordered a watch and paid it in full. Watch was not delivered within promised timeframe and a second timeframe I got from the service representative after the initial one passed. After asking customer service when the second timeframe had passed, they could not even state a delivery date - „we are checking with our partners“. I cancelled the order and I am now waiting for the refund, that I have not yet received after several reminders. I will escalate this matter to the American authorities (FTC) and hand it over as well to a German lawyer. This business operates highly questionable.

I ordered a Cartier watch. Instead of the indicated 4 weeks it took 7 weeks and once I received it it was not the watch I ordered, but a smaller and cheaper model!! Communication was very slow and Chronext was asking me to place a new order for the watch that I actually ordered. I cancelled the order and received the money after just over two weeks from return. I would not order again.
