Apartment scam and no support from Spotahome
I had a horrible experience with Spotahome. I booked a room through them in Madrid only to find it conpletely trashed and not looking at all like the advertisement. Now it is clear to me they edited the pictures of the flat and used ones that were definetely not recent. There was also a guy living there who broke in his own door which was just left cracked open and not repaired.
When I refused to move in there, Spotahome did not help and said it was a livable state. They only offered a cleaning of the apartment, which would not cure the mold in the apartment and the crazy guy living there.
So I did not receive back my Spotahome booking fee and the first month, even though nobody, especially a young girl, could live in that apartment.
All in all I would definitely stay away, as it seems they do not check their apartments at all.
