Extremely high shipping costs – $100 for a package under 1.2 lbs
I had a very disappointing experience with Stackry and would not use the service again.
My package was small and weighed less than 1.2 lbs (approximately 540 g). Nevertheless, the available shipping options to Germany were around $100 just for shipping.
I did not need express delivery and would have been perfectly happy to wait longer for an economical shipping option. However, there was no reasonably priced standard or economy option available to me.
What makes this even more difficult to understand is that I have since used MyUS for a similar shipment and had a very good experience. Express shipping to Germany cost me less than $30. This is a huge difference compared with the approximately $100 quoted by Stackry for my small package.
Because Stackry’s international shipping was so expensive, I ultimately decided not to have the package shipped to Germany at all. Instead, I asked for it to be forwarded to another address within the United States.
Even then, the only available option was express shipping for almost $30 just for domestic US delivery. There was no inexpensive standard domestic shipping option available to me.
This was particularly frustrating because once your purchases have arrived at the Stackry warehouse, you have very limited alternatives. Either you accept the very high international shipping costs, or even getting your package sent somewhere else within the US can be surprisingly expensive.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Stackry for forwarding small purchases from the US to Europe. I have since found a significantly cheaper alternative and would not use Stackry again.

We do want to mention that customers typically see the most value when consolidating multiple packages into a single shipment, rather than sending individual small packages one by one. Since shipping costs are largely driven by the shipment itself rather than scaling proportionally with each item, combining orders can significantly reduce the overall cost per item. This is definitely something to keep in mind for future orders if you decide to give us another try.
