We used Square in order to take credit card payments in our busniess. A client paid on an 55k on an amex card and Square took the money from the Amex card and is now requesting we provide Square with pages of documents about our company including bank transation, statments, contracts or else they will not pay us!

They offered to refund the amount back to the client but they will need to keep the $1400 transaction fee.

Be cautious if planning on dealing with Square. They will gladly take your money and the phone staff have zero care factor.
