Order: #CC-40717415
Vehicle: 2025 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500, Standard Wheelbase (144"), High Roof
Product: Platinum Shield ordered; Deluxe Shield substituted because Platinum was out of stock
Their site sells these as guaranteed-to-fit / expert-verified for the specific year, make, and model, with a 30-day return window and a sizing guarantee that covers return shipping if the wrong cover is sent. That is why I ordered.
What happened:
They did not ship the cover I ordered. They substituted another line and called it the correct option for my exact van.
The cover arrived the day before my wife and I left for an extended trip. I put it on immediately. It was obviously too loose—initially it looked sized for the longer 170" wheelbase Sprinter, not the 144".
I contacted support the same period, sent photos of the van and the SKU tag on the inner seam near the FRONT label (exactly what they asked for), and the case went to the Sizing Team.
While I was overseas, the cover had to be jerry-rigged with extra elastic so it would not blow off. Use was minimal. It is still clean, tagged, and resalable.
Support’s later position: this is already the “best-fitting semi-custom cover” they offer; a smaller size would be too small; an exchange would not help; the November 2025 order is outside the 30-day policy; the matter is closed.
The 30-day clock was not a fair test. They delayed fulfillment because of stock, delivered on the eve of international travel, then spent weeks bouncing the issue between support and sizing instead of authorizing a replacement or return while I could still act. When I got home and asked again for a no-cost exchange or a full refund (including return shipping, no restocking fee), the manager simply declared it closed.
They also would not tell me what size van this cover actually fits so I can sell it myself.
I am not complaining about a wrinkle or a mirror pocket. I am complaining that the product they marketed as guaranteed for this specific Sprinter does not fit it, the substitute also does not fit, and after photos, SKU verification, and escalation they chose policy over making it right.
Would not buy from them again. If you need a cover that must actually stay on a 144" high-roof Sprinter, verify fit in person or buy from a vendor that will exchange when their own “correct” size is wrong.
