Beautiful Quality, Disappointing Sizing
The colour and fabric quality are beautiful, and the linen feels lovely. Unfortunately, the sizing of the duvet cover was a real disappointment.
I would normally size up when buying a duvet cover, but I genuinely thought "Queen Special" meant it was slightly larger than a standard Queen. Unfortunately, it isn't wide enough to cover the depth of my mattress, leaving the sides exposed.
As I washed it according to the care instructions before using it, I can't return it. Given the premium price of Bed Threads, it was a very expensive mistake.
I also don't understand why the Queen duvet cover is smaller than the matching Queen fitted and flat sheets. It seems like a strange design choice and doesn't make much sense. Better sizing information or clearer product naming would help avoid this kind of confusion.
