We are now three weeks on from when I posted my last review after receiving one set of aligners that took 6 months to be sent.
That same day, Ben from Smile Path called me to ensure me I would receive another 4 sets within 2 weeks. LIE! I have now had this first set on for over 20 days, which makes no sense when they make an app that tells you to switch to the next in 10 days time.
After speaking with Max on the online chat on 3/9/2026, he also assured me that 'fabrication would be completed today and aligners would be dispatched within 24hrs'.
What do you know - they create a shipping label and then send you the details, without actually dropping anything off to AusPost. (Same thing happened last time, then one aligner was dropped at the post office 8 days later)
I so far have spoken to Ben, Max, Jamie & Felix. Each one of them have given generalised updates, they have lied, they have given misleading information and obviously do not care about customer satisfaction.
6 months on and I still do not have the product I paid $1500 for, if the process actually went as they said i would almost be finished treatment now.
I do not understand how this company is still running!
Be aware - every other 5 star review you see, is from people making impressions during an online video chat, where the person running the video chat asks you to leave a good review for them. At this point you think that everything is going to run smoothly as advised, this is far from the case.

Lyana was so helpful and professional in guiding me through the process of making my teeth impression kit via Google Meet. The whole experience felt so easy and seamless, and she made me feel really confident that I was doing it correctly.
I was super nervous at first and wasn’t sure if I would be able to take the impression properly, but Lyana’s clear guidance and reassurance made the whole process so much easier.

Extremely frustrating experience — I would strongly recommend against SmilePath.

I was advised in writing by my dentist not to commence orthodontic treatment after a suspected infection was discovered. I had not started treatment, had not signed the consent form, had not even opened the impression kit, and my aligners had not been manufactured.

Despite this, SmilePath refused to give me a full refund. I repeatedly asked for my money back and was instead offered 50% reimbursement and even a sponsorship arrangement — none of which addressed the very straightforward issue I was raising.

I ultimately had to take the matter to NSW Fair Trading before SmilePath agreed to refund my money.

The fact that I had to go through this much stress and escalation simply to get my money back for treatment I had never even commenced is completely unacceptable.

I will never use SmilePath again and absolutely would not recommend them to anyone.

This company is a SCAM, 95% of the 5* reviews on here are bots, all using the same key words with 1 review per account

Paid in full for retainer 5 months ago and ive only received 1 retainer out of my alleged 12 they've claimed to have.

Told me i would have a new one sent every 2 weeks about 2 months ago and still have not received no more than 1 retainer.

They said they'd 'speed' up the process of my next retainer 3 weeks ago and had 0 emails or update regarding this

Don't waste your money, small claims court I think

SmilePath pleased and disappointed me but the final product was worth it.
The initial impression making was more difficult to achieve an accepted impression which caused delays. At times when I was frustrated the Smilepath team worked out options and solutions to assist.

The hole experience was great and John was patient guiding me through the process. Thanks

I paid in full in Jan-26' and by mid July-26'. I still haven't got the kit. We experience multiple delays, was sent the wrong kit, wrong size and finally had to to go to a physical location. Even after, they lost the images (after paying). Took even more time time find the images. No accountability for the delays. Only polite emails, probably from a bot. Very frustrating. Requested for a refund. Still no response.

Very nice getting your package, overnight ships i reckon
