Poor collar battery life ...
The battery life of the collar is sub-par in my opinion. If we're traveling to a new destination (via car), the charge depletes rapidly. The fence size requirements are too strict to activate a boundary. 1/4 acre would be more ideal for VRBO rentals, etc.

This will prevent the collar from thinking the dog has escaped and automatically enabling tracking, which will significantly reduce battery life.
