Business is about serving people. In his recent conversation with Nosipho Radebe on POWER FM’s Power Business, our CEO, Bongani Madikiza, reflected on what this means for the customers we serve. “Business is about people. We serve people. And because we serve people, our job is to make sure that we serve them better.” For Sanlam Retail Mass, serving people means understanding what matters to our customers and helping them put the right financial solutions in place for their lives, their families and their futures. Financial decisions are about much more than a policy. They are about protecting loved ones, managing life’s risks and putting plans in place for the future. It is why listening to our customers and understanding their needs remains central to how we serve them. Women in Leadership Programme Close-Out Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating the close of another inspiring Women in Leadership programme journey. The day was filled with powerful reflections as delegates looked back on how they have grown, challenged themselves, and stepped more confidently into their leadership. A common thread throughout the conversation was the importance of owning your journey, embracing opportunities, and showing up with intention every day. Equally powerful was the recognition that leadership is not only about personal growth, but also about giving back, lifting others, and creating opportunities for those who follow. We were honoured to be joined by our executive programme sponsor, Abigail Mukhuba, who shared a heartfelt reflection on leadership, growth, and the responsibility each of us has to shape our own path. Her message served as a powerful reminder that leadership is not defined by a title, but by the choices we make, the impact we create, and the people we empower along the way. To our delegates, thank you for the courage, authenticity, and commitment you brought to this journey. It has been inspiring to witness your growth, your willingness to challenge yourselves, and your commitment to supporting one another. We look forward to seeing how you continue to own your space, amplify your voices, and create opportunities for others as you lead with purpose. While the programme may have come to an end, the leadership journey continues. We are excited to see the impact these remarkable women will make in their teams, communities, and beyond. #WomenInLeadership #LeadershipDevelopment #OwnYourJourney #LeadWithPurpose #LiftAsYouRise

Looking back at our recent PO and Trustee Engagement Seminar, Prof Thuli Madonsela left us with a powerful reminder: good governance is about more than compliance. It is about doing the right thing. For Trustees and Principal Officers entrusted with the futures and wellbeing of others, ethical leadership, accountability and integrity are essential. The question is not simply, “What can we legally get away with?” but “What should we ethically deliver?” A powerful message that continues to resonate. #Governance #Ethics #Leadership #Trustees #PrincipalOfficers

The 2026 Sanlam Legacy Survey on South Africans and Wills explores the gap between knowing that a will is important and taking the steps needed to put one in place. The findings show an important opportunity to turn good intentions into meaningful action. A will is not about how much you own. It is about protecting the people who matter most, making your wishes clear and helping to ensure that your loved ones are not left with uncertainty during an already difficult time. This #WillsMonth, read the survey and take the next step towards creating or reviewing your will. TIME World’s Best Companies of 2026: Talk about making moves... We’ve been been named the highest-ranked South African company in TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026, climbing 321 places from 709th in 2025 to 388th globally 👏🏽👏🏽 Compiled by TIME and Statista, the ranking recognises companies across three dimensions: employee satisfaction, revenue growth and sustainability performance (ESG). For us, this recognition is about more than a number. The recognition reflects the commitment of our people and the trust our clients place in us. As our CEO, Paul Hanratty, says: “We are proud to see Sanlam acknowledged on this global stage.” #LiveWithConfidence
