What a triumphant results day! One year ahead of schedule, we delivered on our target of R7 billion in normalised headline earnings, and every single business unit was profitable for the first time in our history. What I’m proudest of is that, as part of the Impact strategy, we planned for 4 businesses to earn more than R1 billion each by 2027 – and 5 did, again a whole year earlier. None of this happened simply because we chased a target. It happened because our purpose, strategy and culture all focus on PEOPLE: our employees, financial advisers, stakeholders and clients. And when these overlap… results improve exponentially and magic happens! To everyone who was part of these results: thank you! R7.1 billion in normalised headline earnings. A major milestone reached one year ahead of target. For us at Momentum, there is a lot to celebrate in Momentum Group Limited’s 2026 results. As our Group CEO, Jeanette Marais, has said: “If you truly care about how you make your clients feel with every interaction, profit will take care of itself.” That philosophy is reflected in the numbers. Every business across the Group is profitable, with five delivering more than R1 billion in earnings. Momentum Investments grew normalised headline earnings by 24% to R1.19 billion, while Momentum Insure grew earnings by 8% and Momentum Health by 15%. Behind every billion are people. Clients trusting us with their futures. Advisers helping them make better financial decisions. And thousands of colleagues showing up every day to make those promises real. The Advice Gap: Hannah Sadiki and Momentum Savings’ Therese Havenga unpacked why successful women do not simply need access to more financial advice. They need advice that understands the whole woman, her ambitions, responsibilities, complexity and the life her money needs to enable.
