I became an **authorized Kaabo dealer** because I believed in their products and wanted to recommend them to my customers. Unfortunately, my experience with Kaabo USA has completely changed my opinion.

In May 2024, I purchased three scooters from Kaabo to become an authorized dealer. One of those scooters remained in my inventory until it was sold to a customer on **October 25, 2025** as a **brand-new scooter**.

That customer has put **only 70 miles** on the scooter before the Battery Management System (BMS) failed. The only repair option is replacing the entire battery, which costs around **$1,500**.

When I submitted a warranty claim, Kaabo denied it because they said the warranty started **when they delivered the scooter to me as a dealer**, not when the customer purchased it. In other words, a scooter can sit in dealer inventory and lose most—or even all—of its warranty before a customer ever rides it.

Think about that.

A customer walks into an authorized dealership, buys a brand-new scooter, and later finds out the manufacturer's warranty may have already expired because it sat on the showroom floor.

As a dealer, this puts us in an impossible position. We are expected to sell new products while explaining that the warranty clock started long before the customer owned the scooter.

I wasn't asking Kaabo to cover damage caused by abuse or normal wear. This scooter has **70 miles** on it. The failure was a major battery component that should never fail this early.

Instead of standing behind one of their authorized dealers and helping a customer with a nearly new scooter, their solution was to offer me a discount on a replacement battery.

I invested thousands of dollars to become a Kaabo dealer because I believed in the brand. After this experience, I have lost confidence in both their warranty support and their commitment to their dealer network.

If you're considering buying a Kaabo scooter, I strongly recommend asking **exactly when your warranty begins** and **how much warranty remains before you purchase it**. That information could save you from a very expensive surprise.

This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and unless Kaabo changes how it supports its dealers and customers, I cannot recommend doing business with them.
