I ordered a full price pair of Hovr 2.0 waterproof boots. The site said to size down by 0.5 so I ordered 8.5 uk size. The box said 8.5 but the boots inside are size 8. Paid £170 for you to put wrong size in a box ???? Oh well back to the other brands who can actually be trusted. I tried to give you the chance to compete but a simple error lost that!
Went in to buy a new pair of trainers as was feeling a bit down after an operation. I was greeted very nicely and told I could have my feet looked at for any possible problems. Amazingly I had interesting feet and multiple issues and needed this dealing with urgently. I parted with £195 for a set of insoles that I should wear in every pair of shoes. Was not given any packaging just what look like off the shelf insoles that I could get from anywhere. After 2 weeks use I called the store as all of my shoes started smelling really bad. Never had this problem before. When I called and explained I was told to wipe them with baby wipes and go and see the salesman when he is working next. Went to the store and was only told they have never heard of this before and cannot do anything. Offered a £6 shoe deodorant and told not to worry as I still should take the £1600 treatment and they will look after me on the price. As a retail manager myself I was always taught to retain a customer look after them when they have a complaint. Instead here it is sorry about your problem, I have charged you and given you another but there is nothing we can do about it. Under no circumstances would I return here and urge people go for what you originally wanted and do not get talked into more problems.

We love receiving good reviews but unfortunately in this case we couldn’t get you to understand our perspective. The insoles you purchased are made of Acrylic, EVA and silicone. They conform to ISO 13485:2016 which is the International Standard for Quality for Medical Devices and we have never had an instance of any of these insoles decomposing and emitting any odours. But even though we don’t believe the insoles were faulty we STILL offered you a refund. Unfortunately, you had thrown away the insoles so there was no product we could refund against. As a retail manager I’m sure you wouldn’t refund a product if a customer used your products for two weeks and said they just want their money back without bringing back the product. However, if you do find the insoles, we would still be delighted to give you a full refund.
Malodourous feet is a conditions called Bromodosis it is usually caused by either a bacterial or fungal infection. Our inhouse clinic deals with infections such as athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), toenail infections (Onychomycosis) and Ingrown toenails. All of these can cause smelly feet. If you don’t have an infection, it may just be that whilst wearing the insole the volume in your shoes was reduced which caused your toes to be forced closer together which resulted in a reduction in the amount of sweat escaping from your shoes. The damp conditions allowed any existing bacteria to feast upon the dead skin cells within your shoes. If this was the case it could be remedied by removing the existing insoles in your shoes.
Hi Michael, we apologise for the lack of communication during the Christmas period, there is no excuse except we could not cope with the amount of orders we were experiencing at this time and we are already discussing putting plans in place if this were to happen again.
