Carvana, Buyer Beware
I bought a car from Carvana, who supposedly does an 125 point inspection or more, but when I got the car, I noticed immediately that the third row headrests would not go down, which meant that we could not lay the third row seating down and so did not have a large back cargo area. After calling Carvana, I was told I had to go through their third party company, SilverRock, and then make an appointment at one of their body shops, and all done on my own time, even though I was in the 7 day trial period. I had to take time off work for this and then was told they wouldn't fix it. I tried to retur, but was told I wouldn't get my money back for 10-15 days, so I exchanged the car for another Carvana car. Upon picking this one up, I noticed the tailgate door didn't open and there were yellow paint stains on the white exterior. I was told the Tolleson Warehouse checked these cars. The agent was not compassionate and I was told I could pick another one that day. My husband had to take off work and pick me up and we had no car. Silver Rock was not a great company to work with, out of country customer service that didn't understand what I was asking and uncaring representatives. Carvana was overall a very dissatisfying company to work with.
