I love PDF Candy, but...

I love PDF Candy. It works exactly as advertised and faithfully converts files to PDFs.

The limitations on the free version can be frustrating but there is no reasonable step-up in cost between free and paid. For a casual user, that cost simply cannot be justified for occasional use. If the company offered an occasional use subscription for $20-25 per year, I would subscribe.

Leaf Filter

I saw Leaf Filter at the Pittsburgh Home Show and asked them to come out and give me a quote to replace a competitor's product on two sections of my roof. They came out promptly and gave me a great quote and we set up an installation time for a few days later. The installer was very professional and completely cleaned up everything before leaving. Then to my surprise, today an inspector, Luke, came. He inspected the job, made a few adjustments and gave me his card. He told me to call Leaf Gutter, or him directly, if I had any problems.

The only thing that kept me from rating the company 5 stars instead of 4 is that my installation is still pretty new and we have not had the really heavy spring rains yet.
