Feels Like a Scam – Misleading Subscription Practices
I normally never leave negative reviews online, but this experience genuinely disappointed me!!!!
Before paying, the website gives the impression that you will get direct access to landlords and useful housing contacts. After subscribing, I realized that many listings simply redirect you to other platforms that require yet another subscription or payment. There were very few genuinely useful direct listings.
What frustrated me most was the customer support. I made a small mistake with the cancellation timing by only a few days, and there was absolutely no flexibility or understanding shown. As an international student in the Netherlands trying to save money carefully, this felt extremely unfair.
After reading reviews from other users, I realized many people had the same experience regarding automatic renewals and misleading expectations.
I would strongly advise students and internationals to read everything very carefully before subscribing.
