The Process
All of the staff that I dealt with, were knowledgeable, friendly and made attempts to be helpful. I was given a very generous rate for my loan and Leaf was able to beat out existing relationships that were in place. Their system of completing the loan agreement is time consuming and quite frankly, unnecessarily so. It took them 3 days to prepare the agreement and didn't get it to me until a Monday afternoon, (CDT). After numerous attempts to get clarification on language in the agreement, it was sent through and finally approved @ 8:38 am PDT on the next day. By 3:24 PDT that day I had the simple documents notarized and sent back as asked. It took them until 10:30 the next day to email a shipping label for said documents. Then they waited another day to email a questionnaire to me @ 12:42 CDT to fill out and return to complete the entire process. After complaining and speaking with management about their slow process, I was given "let me see if I can do this..." which I knew would not happen so all was complete on my end @ 2:11 CDT Thursday. I got a call @ 2:51 CDT Friday that all was finally completed, and funding could go through hopefully on Monday. If all goes well, I may have access to use my trucks by the following Monday as there are still 2 hoops to jump through. When discussing my issues with them, all I got was "this is our process". I wish I had inquired about their process to begin with, because I would have not used Leaf. Their salesperson emailed and called me until I relented, and they gave me a good rate. The "process" is dragged out for no other reason than they are not very attentive or concerned with the borrower's time. Good luck to those of you that choose to go through this "process".
