Thank you for your review and for the extra information you shared. We have now been able to look into your comment. You booked your inspection through one of our partners, so we do not know exactly what they told you a technical home inspection would include, which makes it difficult for us to comment on that part.
What we can confirm is that you selected our most basic inspection. As you described correctly, this is a visual inspection of the property supported by a few basic tools such as a moisture meter. The report is a basic summary that is mainly used for the most essential insights or for meeting a bank requirement. It is not more than that. Our system also shows that our inspector clearly explained the limitations of this basic inspection during the appointment and advised you to add a more specialised inspection while we were there so that we could give you deeper insights. You indicated that you did not see the added value of this extra inspection. You therefore received exactly what you selected: a basic home inspection.
