Until recently I would have given 5*. However the following issues have hit me: 1. Acceptance of Wise Visa card is limited (my Wise card was declined by several UK merchants; my other Visa card wor... See more

So far, I've done 5 transactions and all of them went fine. You can do transfers nicely and easy with Wise. I highly recommend it
Have twice tried to receive funds owed. The first time funds were returned to company. They were resent and I used my driver's license as ID. I was told it was expired even though it clearly states the expiry is 2030. They have failed to respond to my, now, three messages and fail to allow my access to my own funds. I will be contacting Consumer Protection and the BBB for a resolution

So convenient to have this available
Great to be able to transfer money from anywhere in any currency
Easy to use app and very welcome
When I met WISE the 1st time 5 years ago I was sceptic because there are many app to transfer money abroad. But when I found out how quick and easy it is to transfer money to my homecountry n another country to family I became enthusiastic about this. No vists anymore to my bank n waiting times n costs to transfer abroad n no time to wait until its in my bank in my homecountry.
This is the most efficient way, the costs are ok n no waiting times anymore. Just in some easy n simple handlings. Thank you so much WISE for making it so easy for me.
Im from Europe and I live and work for years in Asia.
Thank you!
I love everything about Wise. It is easy to set up. I was able to put money into different currencies while saving for my holiday and when the exchange rates were really good, then using that currency to pay for excursions before getting there, this meant I wasn't losing money in the exchange. I used my Wise card in 7 different countries including ATM's and EFTPOS with no issues. Public transport was a breeze with a tap on tap off. I did have it in a protective sleeve to prevent skimming and had no issues. Even after my holiday, I am using my card for online overseas purchases now, it saves on exchange rates and is not associated with my everyday accounts, as well as saving for my next holiday. I highly recommend.
Wise bank is the best for me and am happy having an account with wise bank. Thank you for making all my daily money possible.
90% of reviews here are fake. Fees are HARDCORE HIGH. Very, very, veeery bad app.

We like the convenience & flexibility that Wise offers for overseas spending. However finding atms with no fees is almost impossible so we rarely use it for cash withdrawals. The notifications received each time the card is used makes us feel secure.
This has been one of the most frustrating financial experiences I have ever had.
Wise suddenly suspended my account while it still contained more than USD 30,000 and around NZD 30,000. Since then, I have been unable to access my funds or receive any clear explanation about when or how my money will be returned.
What makes the situation even worse is that there appears to be no effective way to contact customer support. The website directs you to the Support Centre, but to access it you must first log in. Since my account has been suspended, I cannot log in, which means I cannot even contact support. It feels like I have been completely locked out while my money remains inaccessible.
This is an unacceptable experience for a financial services company. When customers trust you with significant amounts of money, there should always be a reliable and accessible support channel, especially when accounts are restricted.
At this point, I simply want my funds returned and a clear explanation of what is happening. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend Wise to anyone who plans to hold large balances in their account.
Update: My funds have now been inaccessible for 2weeks, and I am still waiting for a meaningful response. This situation has caused enormous financial stress and has seriously damaged my trust in Wise.

An easy to use card througout the Asian and Pacific region.
We use WISE to make international bank transfers and find them fast and safe. Fees are way cheaper than other options. On a recent overseas trip to Portugal and UAE, the WISE card worked perfectly in ATM's and paying for purchases. Others we travelled with who had credit cards were paying high fees at ATM's. Highly recommend WISE.
I've had a great experience using Wise for international money transfers. The transfer speed is excellent, and the fees are among the most competitive I've found. Receiving payments through Deel, which partners with Wise, has been smooth and reliable, and I appreciate how transparent the pricing is. However, I personally stopped receiving my payments through Wise because the lack of a debit card made it less practical for my day-to-day needs.
The only reason I'm giving 2 instead of 5 stars is that Wise still doesn't offer its debit card in the Dominican Republic, where I live. Meanwhile, other financial services like Pana already provide debit cards in my region, and Deel itself offers a debit card to eligible users.
It would be great to see Wise expand debit card availability to more countries, especially the Dominican Republic. There are a large number of Dominicans using Wise, and many freelancers here receive payments through Wise through platforms like Deel, Upwork etc... I truly believe Wise has the potential to dominate the Dominican Republic market if it introduced its debit card here. It would make an already excellent service even more valuable for users who rely on Wise for their day-to-day finances.
If Wise makes its debit card available here, I'd happily update my review to 5 stars. Until then, it's still one of the best services for fast, affordable international transfers.

One of the most terrible financial service providers in 2026. I do not recommend to anyone unless you want to lose your money.

Excellent App. Very easy to navigate. I would recommend Wise for banking when on the move.
