Our daughter was banned for being too young (she is not).

You can't verify age through Whatsapp - you have to use Facebook or Instagram - this is a substandard UI experience beyond poor.

We provided a scan of the document proving her age. The ban was not lifted and she is now cut off from her friends.

As the UK ban on social media starts in March 2027, whatsapp is not included. This experience suggests that it should not be allowed to access this demographic, if it this is typical behaviour.

THE STUPID APPM WONT EVEN SEND ME AN EMAIL AS A SECONDRY WAY TO ACCESS THE APP AND THE CUSTOER SERVICES TELL ME TO GET A NEW SIM CARD.

Like all other businesses on line there no different the block all incoming complaints...vermin business used by thief's to steal off the public and wass app do nothing zilch ..& like all scammers they have a pasted response to all reviews

Been banned from whatsapp, i got banned temporally a few times and got back in i only use whatsapp for family and friends i got added into a chat that i did not know so i deleted and from then i have had issues getting no response from whatsapp when you fill in the contact form i need help ASAP

I paid for Meta One Advanced to get live support during an active account takeover attempt (continuous unauthorized registration code requests).

Instead of connecting me to a real agent to lock backend registration, WhatsApp trapped me in an infinite bot loop redirecting me back to the exact screen I was typing in. Charging users for premium priority support that blocks human help during security issues is completely unacceptable.

Still not forgiven you for letting me lose my mom's chat message history.

This is 2026, everyone should stop using this useless app called WhatsApp, you ruined people's business with your random review, you went ahead in reading last 5 messages of reported account and you claim it's end to end encryption, world most liar app and company goes to WhatsApp.

I purchased a new phone and swapped my Sim over with its phone number and at first everything seemed fine, all messages moved onto new phone but then the account was blocked for no reason (they don't tell you why, it's all done by algorithms). After Review account is unblocked after 24 hrs, but then as soon as I open it it is blocked again. This has gone on in a cycle for nearly a week. Today a different message - it tells me I am using an unofficial version despite it being an official version from Google play. The offer a link to their official direct download but that just cycles back to the warning message. There is no facility for human interaction and explanation so I am now having to text all contacts advising to use text to contact me and not Whatsapp. What a farce!

Meta ruined WhatsApp. It's so ridiculously bad I can't wrap my head around! Why do you integrate a function that clearly doesn't work at all???!!!

I am extremely disappointed with WhatsApp's poor handling of my account. WhatsApp suspended my account for a review without clearly explaining what the problem was. After restoring my account, I discovered that all my conversations had disappeared.

How can a communication platform suspend someone's account, provide no clear explanation, and then return the account with all conversations missing? Those messages may contain important personal information and memories.

This experience has seriously damaged my trust in WhatsApp. Users deserve transparency, proper support, and better protection of their chat history. Restoring an account should not mean losing everything without a clear explanation.

WhatsApp needs to explain what happened and provide a way to recover my missing conversations. This is unacceptable customer treatment.

Really bad. Giving 1 star because that's the lowest possible. Many times in a day it will display a noitification saying "You may have new messages." This is the modern version of the old junk mail that announced "you may have won a prize."

• Forensic Recovery: Specialized digital forensics tools used by law enforcement (such as Cellebrite or device extraction software) can frequently recover deleted local chat databases, un-overwritten media fragments, or old cloud backups stored in Google Drive or iCloud.
• No Untraceable Guarantee: Even if chat history is wiped from both devices, metadata (such as who communicated with whom, timestamps, and IP/subscriber records) remains accessible to authorities through formal legal processes or a valid search warrant.

Whatsapp sucks big time. AI flagged and banned number for no reason with no activity at all. Then ai keeps generating answers and does not help. No human advisers and no way to report AI . Ridiculous

Literal piece of trash

No customer service, if your account get's hacked, say bye bye, it's gone forever.

We were on a guided tour in Europe and were asked to use the app as a communication tool. I have never before experienced such a glitch- filled, useless, counter-intuitive piece of trash like this app in my experience. Then I find out it is part of the Meta universe and that explains it all from tracking to easily turning on features to impossible to turn them off.
