It should have been a fast sale but personal circumstances did not allow this to happen

I would not recommend selling your house through We Buy Any Home, it was a very very slow process and along the way they kept lowering the offer. I was wanting a quick sale and that was the reason for using them but when they eventually said they would buy my home for £70,000 when an estate agent valued it at £160,000 it was then I realised to cut ties with them. Be careful if you decide to use them.

The representative Rhys is very good and so far have been fair but it’s early days,no doubt the company will try to re negotiate - let’s see , but so far so good.

This is a business and therefore their main objective is to make money, like any business so be aware that you will receive a significantly lower offer for your house compared to its worth. However, once you accept that aspect, the individuals representing this company are genuinely OUTSTANDING. Transparent and honest throughout and go the extra mile to assist in any way and throughout the process.

Very quick process which can be governed by you to either be as quick as a few weeks or months depending on your needs. Professional throughout and friendly.

During my sale process, I spoke with Taylor, Tom and Chelsea, all of whom were extremely helpful and kept me fully informed throughout. They listened to my needs regarding my new home purchase and even assisted with communications regarding this matter, going above and beyond to ensure I secured an auction house purchase.

Separating the company intentions from the individuals, I would highly recommend these people as they are completely transparent, honest and caring individuals…. A real credit to the organisation.

I am extremely happy with the service and result I received from selling to we buy any home and believe that the individuals mentioned above should be recognised for their absolute brilliance.

My retirement flat was valued at £82,000 by 3 local agents who are nationally known.
It was advertised by one. Not selling I dropped to 75K.

We buy any home offered 41K. HALF the original evaluation with a 2 week completion date and no fees or hassle.
They checked the flat through sending there own assessor.
Nice as pie at this point.
With poor health, I agreed not leaving this to my children to sell.

Everything was done by them to slow this sale down.
Wanting fourteen lots of ID showing recent address and my name for ownership.
My communication was met with 'didnt realise my tenant had moved out', I have all emails to prove they were told.
They and solicitors very slow to respond sometimes not at all.

After 5 weeks they said we will ring you back this afternoon to complete. NOTHING happened. Guess they thought this will keep me interested.

They wanted a management pack from me costing £360, all fees NOT incuded.
I have paid for my disabled tenant temporary accomodation before moving to her controlled retirement home, after believing WBAH time schedules.

From Sept. 4th written agreement promising estimated 18th Sept completion date. TOTAL LIES.
Over 6 weeks later October 20th they reneged on the deal. Stating

'Due to valuations and margins we work off we cannot offer the agreed 41K'.

In other words profits of probably 15 to 20K is not enough they want more.
After deliberate delays of over 6 weeks they now do the obvious last minute drop in price.

They offer an alternative investment company selling scheme a known extemely dodgy delayed alternative to there own dishonest, lying procedure.

I will get legal advice on the 27th Oct., if they have done wrong they I will proceed legally. If anyone else is contemplating using this company you will get the same treatment and harrassment.
The whole miserable crew are dishonest liars. These are the main operatives I cant mention but are mentioned in other reviews.

The process was clear and We buy any home were transparent throughout the process how a cash buying company works.

Property buying companies have something of a mixed reputation, but I have been very impressed with We Buy Any Home. They were the only property buying company we approached willing to act a cash purchaser for a retirement leasehold property. They have been efficient, fair, communicative and responsive. I have had an excellent personal service from Tom Hardcastle who has been totally open and honest about the process. Inevitably you will be offered less than the market value as the company needs to make a profit, and this is an acceptable trade off for the service provided in taking the property off your hands. Ultimately the purchase did not go through because of totally unacceptable behaviour from the freeholder A****r to whom I would give a zero star review. Tom was extremely patient and did whatever he could to help, and I was left with the impression that this is a trustworthy company whom I would be very happy to recommend and do business with in the future.

I have sold two properties now and dealt with Greg who was helpful the whole way through. He always kept me up to date and made the whole process easy from start to finish and was up front and honest and helpful I would recommend this company and Greg to anyone wanting to sell their property.

I had a positive experience dealing with We Buy Any Home. Jack, Aleks and Greg were all very friendly and helpful, with no pressure selling and a willingness to answer all my questions.
Once I signed the agreement, I was passed on to the next team. As I was selling a leasehold flat, I was concerned about potentially having to pay upfront for a management pack from my management company, which charges £500 + VAT. I was asked to liaise with the management company directly to obtain this, and I was worried about incurring costs before knowing whether the sale would proceed.
However, Greg called me the following day and was very honest in explaining that they would not be able to purchase my property for the initial amount quoted. I appreciated his honesty and was relieved that this came to light before the process had progressed too far or I had incurred any costs.
I was recommended their sister site, SOLD.co.uk, as an alternative, which I will look into.
Although I haven't been able to take the cash offer any further, I'm glad I explored the option. Everyone I spoke to was professional, friendly, transparent and honest, and I appreciate the way they handled the situation.

Good communications and very supportive and patient with me through the delays that were caused through no fault of their own. Final offer quite alot lower even though houses in area still being advertised and selling for similar values to that of baseline for original offer. Provided me an offer of splitting any additional profit if house sells higher than that of final agreed value only to be told wasn't aware I had received this and it was only a promotional offer available for timeframe at original request even though it came with no information or T&C's advising that on the email.

Just out of interest I tried this company as I'm just about to try selling a property. Current market value of property by local agents - £215k. Cash offer - £160k. It's a sign of the type of offer they'll likely make ie. knocking around 25% off market value. Take it or leave it. Me - I'll leave it thanks.
Good things - easy to make phone appointment and call was on time.

Helpful, friendly staff, straight forward process that left us able to sell our house despite the building work required to it. Without this it would have taken time and money we didnt have to make the sale. After a family loss, it saved us a lot of time and heartache, meaning we were free to look to the future.
