The watches look nice, but I tried to reach their customer service department multiple times and they responded to be patient, and then did not respond after 5 days from two open requests. I'm returning the watch and 100% expect great customer service from a brand like this. To try to make it better, they offered a 10% discount; They completely missed the mark on customer service. A large part of having a premier brand is having premier customer service. I'm genuinely disappointed. I would not recommend this brand to anyone looking for a luxury time piece with great customer service; It's better to look somewhere else.

The watch arrived on time, in perfect condition.
This is the first watch I've owned with buttons for timing functions. I liked this one because other sport watches look so cluttered with all the dials and large buttons. This one is easily usable without looking complicated. Making the second hand part of the timing mechanism was a great idea.

I wanted a quality watch with sapphire crystal, distinctive design, and non metallic band. I could not afford Nomos or Junghans, and found just the right balance in Sternglas. Only 2 caveats: 1. The luminous hands don’t seem very long-lasting or bright, at least in initial use. I may need to charge more under UV (I have a cell-phone UV ‘sanitizer’ lamp that seems to works well), or just spend more time in the sun… 2. I wish the bands were offered in a slightly smaller length, perhaps 10-12 mm shorter, so that I have less band material wrapped around my wrist - I am on 3rd notch… very quick shipping to California .

Ordering process was easy. You accepted Google Pay, which made it real easy. Didn't have to get my wallet. Order was delivered a day earlier than expected, which was nice. The watch itself appeared in good physical condition. Followed the included instruction guide and was up and running within 5-10 minutes. My only complaint would be that the geometry of the movement (hour hand) and the watch face are slightly out of sync, especially at the six o'clock hour.

Setting the moon dial is a little long winded.
Date etc is written rather small and I have had
eye surgery, so my eyesight is now Zeiss lens quality.
I didn't notice the hands glowing at all in the dark?

This was a pleasant surprise! The curved sapphire glass and the elegant Bauhaus style of the dial exude a nice sense of calmness. The solar watch runs extremely accurately. The strap softened up quickly and became very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Only one weakness : the package was not safely delivered by DHL (no ring, just left behind the flower pot😡)

I ordered a watch for my partner. The watch was beautiful and delivered very quickly (ordered on Monday and delivered on Wednesday). Unfortunately, the strap didn't fit well and I asked the Sternglass customer service if there were alternatives available. Marén was incredibly friendly and offered a very good solution. Would absolutely recommend.

Unfortunately, my experience with one of your latest models was disappointing; the second hand "wobbled" too much and, when activating the hacking mechanism to adjust the time, it did swing terribly back and forth as you moved the minute and hour hands. It gave me a feeling of a cheap watch. I do agree that some Miyota Calibers are Work Horses, but this one felt bad. The watch in question was the Naos Moonphase. I may go in the future with a more simplistic Bauhaus Two Hands watch.

I ordered 2 watches from Sternglas. They were both ok but nothing right for me. The watches are all manufactured in China and may have a Japanese movement.
I have returned both watches individually but sent them in one box to facilitate the shipment. I had some trouble with them approving that both watches have reached.
For days now I tried calling them, but no one ever answers, whether Monday early morning, Wednesday morning or Thursday afternoon several times.

Spending over £600 on a watch, I would expect the bare minimum that it would keep time but was over 5 mins fast over a couple of days. I raised it with customer support (who on average take a week to come back to every email). There has been much back and forth and initially they wanted us to pay to take it to a jeweller to and we have finally got to a place whereby they have agreed we can return it (for a replacement although I would like a refund as it seems to be a recurring issue for their products). They sent me a link to start the process for a return and it won't let me return the item. I am now awaiting another week for a response for someone to assist. This was a present for my husband bought in November.

I would not recommend using Sternglas at all. And if you do chance it, definitely use a credit card so you can request a chargeback should all of this happen to you!

Currently travelling around the Yucatan, Mexico for four weeks and my Sternglas Naos GMT is enjoying the trip with excellent timekeeping both locally and back home in the UK.

I bought the Naos with a two-year "warranty." It fell on the bathroom floor and stopped working. I took it to my trusted watch repair shop and they said it needed a new movement. I contacted customer support, which said it would respond in a week because they were so busy. I made the mistake of saying it fell (how would they ever know?). Eventually they said the warranty didn't apply and they would sell me a new watch for 30% off, or I could send it to Germany and pay for repair. When I pushed back, I got a 500 word lecture explaining why they were right, telling me to read the fine print of their so-called "warranty," and vaguely threatening me if I called it fraudulent. I guess they are sure of their legal position because it's been tested before! But why would I want to buy another watch from them when this one was so fragile and their support so poor? I fell for the slick marketing and the fake "warranty," it's a poorly made watch made to look good in photos but with no real company behind it.

PS their response is to say they're going to work on communicating better that if you drop their $325 watch once, it will stop working and tough luck to you - good to know! also, no one from the company contacted me directly, that AI message is directed at any other suckers with a complaint I guess

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Sternglas. I had a very difficult time receiving my watch due to the new U.S. tariffs. This was incredibly frustrating because this was the only watch I truly wanted. My budget ranged from $50 to $7,000, so price wasn’t the deciding factor. this watch simply had everything I was looking for, AND at an amazing value.

Because of the new tariffs, DHL ended up sending my watch back. I had completed every required form and provided all the paperwork, yet despite reaching out to DHL at least ten times theough phone and multiple emails, I never received a single response. I was extremely disappointed.

Sternglas, however, was unbelievably understanding. In the meantime, they had actually opened a warehouse in the United States, which allowed them to send me the watch face I wanted, though it was only offered with a band I dint want. When I contacted them, they let me know that the band I preferred would be available in the U.S. within a week or two, and they generously gave me a discount code so I could order it at a reduced price!!

Every time I reached out to Sternglas, I received a response within three hours, and it was always from a real person!! Their customer service is truly exceptional!! If I owned a company, this is exactly how I would want it to be run!! I’m genuinely amazed!! Every business could learn something from them.
